I absolutely loved Barque of Heaven and Do No Harm. They were my favorites so far. But I liked the others a lot too. But those 2 so far are in the top. I am reading Valhalla right now. They were a good read! How about your favorite?
Barque of Heaven is one of the best, I loved how the characters were so well captured! That was the last one I read actually. Haven read Do No Harm yet. :-/ which is next up.
Definitely read Do No Harm. It's excellent too. It was one of these I wanted to check the ending, but I didn't. Glad I didn't "cheat" too. But it was hard. Do you read fanfic too or do you stick with the publisher based books? I do read some of the fanfics. There are a lot out there that are excellent too.
Oh yes, it's next on my Stargate "to read" list. Always liked Dr Frasier.
I'm a little weary of fan fiction, I had bad experience with a few random ones that I've read in the past. (like the ones that completely screw up the canon characters. Make Jack into a whiny brat, Daniel into a gung ho marine type char, and so on.)
I myself dabbled a bit in writing fan fiction as well as role playing actually (and would love to again, as I do better with a co-writer/sounding board to bounce off of rather than bounce off of against my own head) but then my rule is not to write canon characters until I'm sure I captured their essence as portrayed on screen. To date, I am more or less sure of my Daniel, rest took a while. and I'm probably out of practice with them as it's been a while since I watched the show. Keep planning on having a Stargate marathon.
What about you?

I really enjoyed Hunt and Run. (SGA) I have not yet read the ones mentioned above; just got them from Chapters a couple of weeks ago and have some library books to read first. Barque of Heaven is first up when I do get to them.
Let me know what you think of Barque of Heaven. There's a thread for all individual book discussions, BoH should have its own.
I realize this list isn't very active. I was surprised that there isn't much discussion on these boards about the Legacy series, which I personally love.I just thought I would stop by and mention that I wrote a novel-length Stargate fan fiction that is FREE for download on my website in epub format. I've been publishing it on fanfiction.net, serially, over time.
I'm an aspiring writer. I used the fan fiction to hone my craft and I'm now midway through writing my first wholly original novel.
