What is really up with those two anyways? And who is the woman Ben used to love that looks just like Juliet?

Supposedly she looks like Annie, the little girl he befriended when he lived with Dharma as a kid. She was the one who made him that doll....

I dont get it really. He's posessive of her. "Youre Mine". that was creepy! When he took her to see goodwins dead body... something he set up on purpose to keep those two apart. One of those psychotic 'if i cant have her, no one will' kind of things....

I see no resemblance between her and Juliet but on the recap episode for the show when Moley (juliets therapist) said " you look just like her", the ticker running at the bottom of the screen said that she was referencing Annie...

I see. How would he know what his mom looked like? She died in childbirth didn't she?>

Yeah, but he saw visions of her when he was first brought to the island (and i would imagine that the father had pictures of her around the house and whatnot)

What happened to Annie? And when was she introduced? There was a period of time when I didn't watch Lost for a while so thats probably when she was shown.

last season, in a Ben flashback.... she was a kid who was living with Dharma like Ben, and they became friends. We dont know what happened to her once he grew up tho... I would assume she was killed during the Purge, but its possible she excaped that... they were never very clear about any of things leading to the Purge, or what really went on right after...

Okay, I'm an idiot, but what was the Purge? Yes, awful idiot, but I can't help it!

when Ben gassed all the Dharma people and threw thier dead bodies into that grave that Locke took Hurley to this past episode.

right right... thanks. Why the heck would Ben gas Annie? That makes no sense. But then again, this is Ben. But, then why was he seen holding the wooden doll of her? Was he forced to?

I always assumed she was gassed with the rest of them. Didn't he look at the swing - or something made me think he was reflecting on her. Because I remember thinking, "I can't believe he also killed Annie!"

Maybe Annie died before the purge.... Someone said that perhaps she had gotten pregnant by Ben and died, and that is why he was so obsessed with finding out what the causes are....

Im hearing that Annie will be coming back into play somehow, but not until the next season .. at least. Ho-hum... Guess we keep speculating till then :P
