Fersi slept in his house. He tossed and turned restlessly. Why did he have to be in the military?

Kay sat on her balcony and gazed down at the rock valley.

Fersi finally decided to get up since he couldn't sleep. He went up to the top of the rock wall.

Blaze scaled the rock wall to her favorite place; a little cave with some stunted trees. Sitting on the ledge, she looked at the city

Fersi looked around and saw Blaze going into a little cave nd Kay on a balcony. His frown and eyes softened a bit.

Boredom.... Blaze thought. Blaze created an orb of fire just for the heck of it

Kay sent a blast of fire out from her palm and smiled. She was getting better at controlling her power.

Fersi saw fire come from both places. He transported himself to where Kay was. He smiled. "Hi, Kay."

Kay looked up and estinguished the flame.
"Hey"

Blaze sighed and started to climb to the top of the rock wall. It wasn't easy, but Blaze was bored and she like climbing

Fersi relaxed and smiled in spite of himself. He sighed. "I wish I could stay here forever."

Kay looked at him and nodded.
"When do you leave for the war?"

Blaze got to the top and scared the life out of a rabbit

Fersi's face became blank so no one could read his feelings. "Tomorrow." he said without emotion.

Kay shook her head.
"I'm leaving to join you guys next week."

Bailee wandered her room, she had on black leggingsand a strapless red tunic. She stepped onto her balcony and looked at the Aya nation. Her nation. She looked at the soliders preparing for battle and it hurt her heart. Being a young queen was hard enough without war knocking at her door.

Blaze sighed and scaled back down. She walked towards the castle, ready to go. She took out her silver sword and walked inside

Bailee walked to the foyer. She had to greet the leaving soldiers. "We, as the nation of Aya, thank you for serving your nation and giving up your lives for the sake of your kinsmen."

Blaze sighed as she listened to the speech. She was a general somehow, despite being young and a girl. She sneered to herself

Pale Fire was feeding the ally cats, she wante one of them really badley.

Pale Fire used her fire to warm herself.

Blaze sighed and started to lead the soldiers out

Blaze noticed Delilah, but didn't say anything, just pointed down an ally.

Blaze reacted incredibly fast. She drew out her sword and slashed, serving the guy's hand

Blaze held her sword, tip pointed right between his eyes. "Leave." she said. "Or else, this sword goes through your head."

Blaze groaned. "Why the heck didn't you tell me that first?!"

Blaze signaled for the soldiers to keep on going. "Delilah, you have to. Are you going to become a hobo?"

Bailee finished her speech and watched as the soliders left. She wished she was going.

Blaze did a face-palm. "You go back to the castle. Sorry about your hand." she said to the man. "I really need to show you something." she said towards Delilah

Blaze led Delilah to some poor neighborhood, where everyone was dressed in rags, and there was blood splattered on the walls. "Do you really want to live here?" she said softly, rather rare for her. She spotted her old house, but she refused to look inside it, to see her rat of a brother...

"Yeah. About that...." Blaze sighed. "I'm pretty sure you dad would post up a reward for your return. Who wouldn't turn that up." Blaze sighed. "Listen, it's your choice, but I got to go. The soldiers are waiting."

Bailee pulled out her sword, gleaming and silver. She would go...Her twin could rule the nation and she could take her place.

Blaze led the way out and towards Shion.

Bailee warned her sister of her plans and headed out to the other troops.

Kel stood at attention waiting for instructions.

"Everyone, forward." Blaze ordered. "We're going to invade Shiron, and you need to be paying the utter most attention."

Bailee opened her mouth to protest, nobody tells a queen what to do. She looked around and then focused on Blaze.

Blaze led the army toward Shion

Kel marched next to a new boy that he was certain hadn't been there durring training.
"You must be new"

Kel raised an eyebrow.
"Do you have a cold?"

Kel shrugged.
"You sound deep for a boy"

Kel shrugged again.
"All right. I'm not judging."

Kel didn't say any more but he continued marching to catch up to the first company.
