South Shore Readers discussion

Our March 2010 book selection is The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry. We will be meeting on March 28th to discuss in person, but feel free to post your thoughts here.

I'm 3/4 of the way through and so far I like it a lot. I really like the way the book is organized. It reveals a little at a time and leaves it to the reader to piece it together. I'm looking forward to the discussion!

I'm enjoying it too. I like the slow reveal as well.

Though I will admit when it started off with the narrator stating she was a liar I had flashbacks to "In the Woods".

I am about 100 pages in and having a bit of a tough time getting into it. I will have to hurry up reading it to be done by the meeting.

My book club read this last year, and I really enjoyed it. They even took a trip to Salem to check out the statue of Roger Conant! I missed the trip, but they took some great photos for me!
