Vampire Bites discussion

I thought I'd introduce myself here after being a member for so long yet never sharing anything, and it just occurred to me that this group's location is in Antelope, CA, which is where I'm at. It's a tiny suburb, so at least one of you who lives here has probably run into me at Winco or someplace.

But anyhoo...I've been making a living in horror literature for over twenty years and also own/operate an indy publishing company here called Black Bed Sheet Books which won a Preditors & Editors top ten publisher award last year, and we have vampires.

In fact, my first mass market paperback under the old Nicholas Randers pen name was about lamias. Our vampire authors include Norm Applegate (Blood Bar), Cinsearae Santiago (whose Gratista Clan series has a huge cult following, Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc...and "Red Afterworld," the main story in my Red Wet Dirt collection, is already an alternative staple in vampire lore and soon to be a graphic novel from A Shot in the Dark Comics.
