Thoughts on the World discussion

I guess that's what we could call it. Our own little um...community? I'll just put it that way. I want my stories to be read but no one reads them...how can I get people to see them? Tell me if they even like them or not? (personally I dont care as long as I get noticed so I can improve)

eew. once my little sisters forced me to get an account on that site. i hated it. i kept getting stalked by other psycho penguins, who would start, like, farting at me. (sketchy!!!!!!) so i stopped using it. and then my account expired. but i didn't care. lol. i don't think my sisters use it anymore either.

How did you get the pic to show up?

Basically to get people to read your writing, you brag and blab about it as much as you can in every group and discussion where it might even slightly fit in. There is a group called Fans of our own work and there is another one called Writing Passionates. They are both useful.

i feel bad about bragging too oakwar, but it's sometimes the only way to get noticed. when i first joined goodreads nobody would read my writing cuz i was too shy to talk about it. but when i started blabbing about it all over the place my stories became really popular. :D (see that was bragging right there...)

it depends on the book of course. i luv some animal books, like watership down... i also wrote a fantasy book about cats, although it isn't my favorite story that i've ever written. anyway, i promise i'll read some of your story L8r oakwar!!! :D
