Loving this so I am hunting for cheesy titles!Blessed Are the Cheesemakers
The Grilled Cheese Madonna and 99 Other of the Weirdest, Wackiest, Most Famous eBay Auctions Ever
Haha! This task is awesome! I LOVE cheese! Here's a list of cheeses from Wikipedia...
Here are the American cheeses and here's a list of the British cheeses, for those of us who will be reading books with English titles...
Diane wrote: "So is it enough to just have the word "blue" in the title, or does it have to be "blue cheese"?"Just the word "blue" will work.
Jamie wrote: "So would Bluebeard work or does it have to be separate?"It should be separate. (Sorry!)
Tanja wrote: "The Swiss Family Robinson !!!"This one keeps popping into my head too! (And yes, it would work.)
I'm thinking All-American Girl (if that "American" is separate enough), The Cat Who Said Cheese, or Gathering Blue...
So then cream, cottage, cheddar (that would be a tough one), goat would work as well? In other words it doesn't have to be the full name (the cheese part can be dropped)?
Brie, Gouda, Limberger, Pepperjack, Parmesan - No results producedNot sure what variations for Smoked Cheese is permitted!
In Search of Cheddar Man
Mozzarella Most Murderous
Provolone in the Casket: Memoirs of a Mortician
The Cottage
Rose Cottage: A Novel
Lakeside Cottage
Magic Cottage
Leeway Cottage
St. Nacho's
American Gods
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream
American Psycho
Here's a couple of obscure cheeses I saw on the link:Dubliner - Dubliners by James Joyce

Sara ♥ wrote: "I'm thinking All-American Girl (if that "American" is separate enough), The Cat Who Said Cheese, or Gathering Blue..."I've thought about this for a bit and I'm going to have to say no to All-American.
Nicole wrote: "So then cream, cottage, cheddar (that would be a tough one), goat would work as well? In other words it doesn't have to be the full name (the cheese part can be dropped)?"
Those would all work and yes, the cheese part can be dropped.

Smoked would be acceptable. Here's another one to add to that list:
Secret Confessions of the Applewood PTA: A Novel
(And I love the Nacho's!)
Diane wrote: "Here's a couple of obscure cheeses I saw on the link:Is "Jack" acceptable for Monterey Jack?
I have to say no to that.
Rebecca wrote: "Tanja wrote: "Brie, Gouda, Limberger, Pepperjack, Parmesan - No results producedNot sure what variations for Smoked Cheese is permitted!"

Thanks Rebecca, I happen to own Secret Confessions of the Applewood PTA.
Tanja wrote: "So any variation on Smoked is accepted? Smoke, Smoking?"I'm trying to avoid variations so let's just stick to Smoked.
My daughter recommends Say Cheese and Die! (she's nine). It is tempting since it's already here in the house...
Here are some options for me, so can I be told which are ideal for this task please:The White Lioness
The Blue Nowhere
The Red Room
The Double Eagle
The American Boy
Would these work? The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid
Paws Off, Cheddarface!
Red Pizzas for a Blue Count

The Year of the Goat: 40,000 Miles and the Quest for the Perfect Cheese looks interesting. It's about a couple that decides to milk goats for chesse over a year. HuuuH!

Jayme wrote: "I think I will go with "The Blue Sword". There is a book called "Who Moved My Cheese?" :)"I have Who Moved My Cheese? sitting my desk right now! That is one I was trying to fit in. Sadly, though, it is only 94 pages. ARGH!!!! Could I read another book also, so the total is over 100?Rebecca wrote: "
Secret Confessions of the Applewood PTA: A Novel " This book cracked me right up! It was recommended to me when I was elected President of the PTA and I thought it was classic.

Diane wrote: "Tea - Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time"I'm open for new ideas but I've never heard of tea cheese. Can you clarify this for me?
Bridgit's list is good. Another good site is: askdrcheeseAshley - yes, you can read more than one book as long as they both meet the requirements.
I think I'm all caught up with all the questions. If I missed someone, I'll apologize now, just re-post the message and I'll get back to you. I do want to add that I will check as often as I can to answer your questions but there will be days when I can only check in the morning befure I go to work and later in the evening after dinner and I'm on the east coast.
i'm glad everyone is enjoying this task!
I am going to read this because I love YA and it could be the antidote to another book I am reading that also has thirteen in the title (in the other book it's 13 reasons why someone committed suicide). This one should be far more light-hearted!
13 Little Blue Envelopes
Nicole wrote: "I am going to read this because I love YA and it could be the antidote to another book I am reading that also has thirteen in the title (in the other book it's 13 reasons why someone committed suic..."Oh oh oh! I own that one, I just don't have it listed on GR! You can't see it, but I'm bowing down in gratitude right now. ;o)
Rebecca wrote: "Diane wrote: "Tea - Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time"I'm open for new ideas but I've never heard of tea cheese. Can you clarify this for me?"
My bad. It's cup, not tea. I edited the previous post. Sorry about that.

April is National Grilled Cheese month. In honor of this unusual day, select a book that has either the word cheese or a type of cheese in the title: blue, cottage, cream, swiss, etc.
