First, make a charrie. Then make your shinigami...it's basically a battle of wits between us. You can be a detective (Don't take L or Near, they're too awesome.) or you can be a death note user. For the detectives to catch you, you must agree that you will be caught.

Toru scribbled down his eighth name of the day...it was time to go to bed.
They'll never catch me...he thought.

((wht kinda names do u use?)

((Whatever names. Though I'd prefer Japanese ones.☺))

yuki is home watching the news. the picture and name of a man accused of fraud pops up she writes the name down quickly and turns of the tv.

Toru woke up and looked out the window. He flipped on the news. He saw a criminal show up and was about to write his name...but he died before he got a chance.

yuki grabs a snack and heads of to school wondering what will be on the news tonight.

Toru looked out the window at the rising sun and wonders...
What was that? He...died...be4 i killed him...

yuki waves to her friends and asks them if they have heard anything interesting. nope.

Toru noticed an all to familiar black notebook in the hands of a girl a little ways away. He looked back at Shinra, his shinigami, smiled, and walked up to the girl, "What's that notebook?"

*what the.. how could he know unless...* "uh" * if i play dumb maybe he will leave* " its just a notebook" she hides the odd writing on the front with her hand but she's inching away slowly.

Joey smirks and reaches his Death Note into her hand. His shinigami is now visible.
"I already know."

she gasps. "you...you have one too". she grabs his collar and pulls him to the side, "how did you know it was me?"

"You should really hide your note." He said and grinned.

Suko walks along the streets, hiding his note in his coat pocket.

Suko says to his shinigami gosho, "I'm bored."

yuki looks at toru. "i wasnt expecting anyone to know what it was!" the school bell rings "i have to go" "meet me in shibuya on saturday at seven okay? bye!" she runs off.

"Bored."
" I KNOW. " says Gosho.

Toru notices Suko Talking to no one and walks over.

Suko says to Toru, "Wanna feel this random notebook I found?"

"That's a death note you dip."

"I know. touch it."

"Also, I brought this red notebook cover for myself. It should help."

"Cool." Toru said and touched the note. He looked behind Suko to see his shinigami, "HOLY CRAP! IT"S EVEN SCARIER THAN SHINRA!"

Suko smirked. "Ha Ha."

((Suko.))
"See ya round." Toru said and walked into the school.

((CRAP.))

"See ya."

Jinx grinned as she walked into an old bookstore. She loved old antique stores. She looked around the place, and then saw an old black book that seemed to be calling to her. She walked over to it, and then picked it up. Suddenly something fell out of it, and onto the floor. She bent over, and picked it up.

Toru stood in class.
((Raven, you take a while to tell your story.))

((Can't help it... Hey, can you help me with this? What happens when you get the death note? It's been so long since I've read it...))

((A little later you see ur shinigami))

Jinx frowned. Death note? She opened it up, and then saw the instructions. As she read them, the more she got a little uneasy. What is this? It must be a joke. Oh well, I think I'll buy it, only, in the book it fell out of. She put it into the dark, big book of Alchemy, and walked over to the counter.

Suko stood in class.

Jinx walked out of the old store, the old book in her arms, and walked across the street to her apartment complex.

Five minutes later.

Jinx sat down infront of her desk, and ten looked at the small black book before her. Should I open it, and use it as a joke? Come on, what could happen? She sighed, and then pulled out her black pen, and opened the first page.

the class bell rings. yuki sprints out of class yelling bye to here friends she has to get back to her apartment change and head to work.

Toru saw Raven looking at a black notebook. He sighed and walked over, "It's true, you know. I can prove it."

((ugh, fine. Meanie.))
((and the name is Jinx!))
Jinx looked up and then said,"How did you get into my apartment?"

Anthony is at his apartment fixing a bowl of ramen. The smell is so good that it can be smelled a mile away.

"Snuck in hours ago. Back on track. It's real."

Jinx frowned, and then said,"I suspected as much."

as yuki was running down the stairs she noticed a door to an apartment open. as she ran passed she saw the boy who had come up to her at school with a death note! she skidded to a halt almost falling down the stairs and stopped to see what was going on.

Jinx looked at him and then said,"So, if it's real, then I'd think you'd have one also. Am I correct?"

Anthony drops his bowl, but no ramen falls out. It makes a large THUD that can be heard throughout the apartment.

"Dang."
