I like the dragon (name escapes me) in Gail Carson Levine's The Princesses of Balimarre, and the dragon in T. A. Barron's Lost Years of Merlin series, the parent one. *sniff* I cried for both, and I've cried while reading fiction about four times (Where the Red Fern Grows being one of them). WHY do the dragons always have to die??

I read the Princesses of Balimarre but it was a while ago and I can't remember it. :(

Not the greatest book, but one of her best, in my opinion. :) And, I liked the dragon (obviously).

It's so hard to choose one, but I'd have to say Toothless from the movie How to Train Your Dragon.

Draco (Dragonheart) and Wistala (Age of Fire) would be runner-ups, though.

I would have to say my favorite dragon is Ardeo but Gymn is very unforgettable.

Yea, I liked all the minor dragons in it, but I loved how Ardeo glowed in the dark and it was heartbreaking when he died.

I like a lot of dragons from different books.
I like some because of their attitude, their looks, their behavior, etc.

At moment I laugh my ass of with the Dragon Kin series from G.A. Aiken. They are absolutley wonderful.

if you want, I can give you the first one as ebook (PDF). So you can see, if you like them.
But I must say, the first book is not so good as book 2, 3 or 4. The best is book 3

The Dragon Kin series is full of humor, love, passion, the dragons has some serious attitudes, they are annoying, they are absolutely amazing.

I really liked Copper from EE Knights Dragon series, at first he seems like a bad guy, but your opinion changes as you read the books and get to his story.
