5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

YUM! That does look dangerous!
Dear Cookie Friends, I am exhausted, I just finished baking and decorating 32 Sugar Cookie Eiffel Towers for my teenager's French Class! Off to read and get some sleep. Yes I have made these before, a few weeks ago before they left on a trip to France, now they are back and I am spoiling them - the cookies are so pretty, I wish I knew how to post a darn photo here...hum maybe edit copy paste? Haven't tried that one.....
Merry! Congrats on the cookies. I made 76 cherry crisps for my birthday last week and took them to the library staff. I thought that was tiring, but I didn't decorate them. Did your son enjoy his trip? I hope it went well.

Hollow out the cores, put them in a pie pan and make a mixture of butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and maple syrup. Pack that into the core hole. YUM!
Yes, dried cherries. SunMaid makes a realy good dried sour cherry that comes in a foil bag with a zip top. I use them whole or chopped in all sorts of recipes.
They are also quite tasty on their own.
SunMaid also makes a Golden Raisin and Dried Cherry mixture which is what I use in Comfort Cookies.

I guess this is the best folder as it is baked, but isn't a cookie, brownie, cake or pie.Rolo Pretzel Treats
pretzel squares (may be called snaps) they have a grid
rolo candy
pecans (optional)
Set oven to 250-275
line cookie sheet with parchment paper
1. put as many pretzel squares on cookie sheet as you want to make or will fit.
2. put one rolo on each pretzel square
3. put cookie sheet in oven for about 2 minutes (you just want the rolo to get a little soft)
4. Remove from oven and top each rolo with another pretzel square or a pecan (gently pushing down)
5. Move parchment sheet with pretzel treats to a cooling rack and cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
My mom made these for a few years. We experimented with other nuts, like cashews and did it with M&M's. Both worked really well.
I found this today in an article celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Oreo. I thought that they looked and sounded really good. These are similar to the cake balls my neighbor makes.
NO BAKE TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE BALLS
1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 cup milk
1 package JELL-O chocolate instant pudding
12 to 16 Baker's semi-sweet chocolate squares
4 to 8 Bakers white chocolate squares
In a small bowl, make a paste out of the pudding and the milk. Put 36 of the Oreos into a gallon-size zip-top bag and crush them (with a rolling pin or a mallet). Add the crushed cookies to the pudding mixture and stir will. Form the mixture into small balls and place on a wax-paper lined cookie sheet; freeze them for about 10 minutes.
While they're in the freezer, please the semi-sweet chocolate squares in a microwave-safe bowl and heat, stirring often, until melted. Dip the chilled oreo balls into the melted chocolate, place them on a fresh wax-paper lined cookie sheet, and refrigerate or freeze for another 10 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate squares, and drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cookie balls using a fork or a spoon. Return them to the refrigerator to harden briefly before serving.
Makes 40 to 45 cookie balls

This is the recipe from my neighbor exactly as she gave it to me. You can use any color of candy melt you want and you could even make lollipops out of these if you wanted to. I have seen these the size of tangerines, but I like her truffle sized ones better. To each their own. The original recipe called for chocolate cake and frosting but she did red velvet with cream cheese frosting and dipped in white chocolate for the first ones. I have done vanilla cake with lemon frosting and white chocolate myself and it was really good.

what a great idea.
It is so good too. Just make sure that you use a really big mug that is microwave safe. It puffs up like a souffle.
The cake in a mug is fantastic! I don't have that exact recipe, I got mine out of Readers Digest. It's really good, ya'll really need to try it. :)
Lol, want some of mine? I have like 120!
YES WE SHOULD! INTERNET EXCHANGE!!!!!
