i'm not a vegetarian just cuz ur body is meant 2 be omnivorous (although i realize that there are other ways 2 get everything u need, but still), but i think slaughterhouses conditions definitely need 2 improve

I want to be veggie but my parents wont let me they give me the whole "we're meant to be omnivores" speech every time I bring it up.

I wish that I could become veggie, but I like meat too much. I am still a big animal advocate, though, and I sign petitions and go on meat-fasts!!

im not a veggie but i lov e love LOVE animals. I think slaughter houses need to change. the least we can do is respect them before we kill them and make their lifes happy and stress free. Have u guys heard of Temple Grandin? Look her up. shes really cool!

Way ahead of you Sophie! Animals in Translation is one of my favorite animal books! I would also highly recommend The Parrot's Lament. Fantastic book. But it's animal related, not food related. The Omnivore's Dilemma is another good food related one.
