I could hardly wait to read Elaine Viets' new book Clubbed to Death. It was great. She is a talented writer with a wonderful sense of humor.
Where Memories Lie by Deborah Crombie (due 6/24)Curse of the Pogo Stick by Colin Cotterill (8/1)
The Turnaround by George Pelecanos (8/1)
I want to read The Reapers by John Connolly, Chasing Darkness by Robert Crais, Nothing to Lose by Lee Childs, and Shame by Alan Russell. I think I'm going to take a couple of days off, order some pizzas and totally veg out. And I hope with all my heart that it will rain, rain and rain even more during that time. Ah, sweet, sweet heaven....
Hey I'm on Working Stiffs blog today talking about one of the stories I covered that inspired me to write Every Secret Crime. Come on over and join us!Every Secret Crime, by the way, will be released next week. A good summer read!
I just heard that Thomas Perry will have a new Jane Whitefield novel. I am looking forward to that!!
I run a blog (www.BearMountainBooks.com) and post bargain books there along with garden musing, sewing musing...this weekend I found a couple of historical mysteries that look really great. No idea if they WILL be great, but they look great! :>) Limelight was the one and the other is called A Company of Roses. A Company of Roses will be on tap for this week. I'm more of a cozy/humor reader normally, but this one intrigued me.

I'm on a mission to read authors I haven't read before, so I recently bought Fatal Feng Shu by Leslie Caine, Gone Baby Gone by Dennis Lehane, Nightcrawlers by Bill Pronzini and Oh Danny Boy by Rhys Bowen. I'm really looking forward to reading them all.
I've also starting posting reviews here and a couple of other places like DorothyL. It's great fun.
