AGREED! IT SEEMS LIKE MOST WRITERS CREATE FEMALE CHARACTERS THAT ARE JUST HELPLESS AND NEEDED. ROSE ISN'T EITHER OF THOSE. I WISH THERE WERE MORE CHARACTERS LIKE HER!

Catherine | 576 comments Yup, I love how she never has to rely on other people to help or do things for her. If she wants something then she'd go and do it herself. I even love the fact that rather than crying and moping about what happened to Dimitri, she went to kill him because she knew that's what he would've wanted!

I agree. it takes someone who is very dedicated to the one she loves to kill them no matter what the reason is!

Me to. I just hope that there is some light at the end of the tunnel for her. she always does things for everyone else she deserves to have something good happen to her in the end!

I know. I have noticed that's one thing that bothers me the most when I'm reading I wish the female characters could be more independant

Luce29 | 17 comments i agree!!rose is strong and independent and know how to defend herself! i hate those girly like characters who need someone to their saviour or something!

yeah for example:Bella,Elena(vamp.diaries),Ever(Evermore),Luce(Fallen),Nora(Hush hush) and about gazillion of others. In my opinion Richelle is the only one who can write a decent female character.

message 19: by Heather B (new)

Heather B (heatherbenson) Rose is defineitly one of my favourites, if not my favourite. She is the best female lead character that I have read about in any book I have read yet.
