Chase waved at everyone that waved at him. Well, he was the most popular guy there! He waited outside for his Dance Teacher.

Skyler smiled as she talked and said hi to alot of her friends at the dance studio. She ran into her dancing room to practice with her current dance partner Derek.

Derek did some stretches and warmed up to get ready to dance with Skyler.

Miranda walked into the dance studio. She walked over to a group of her friends. She saw Derek and she blushed lightly. She started giggling with her friends.

Derek glanced at the group of girls and winked lightly. Then he saw Skyler, "ready to go partner?" he asked.

Skyler nodded, "just please dont drop me this time on the lift" she smiled gently.

Derek nodded, "alright sure thing hun" he said flirtily.

Skyler looked away from him, "...im not hun its skyler" she said not interested.

Derek nodded, "alright then...skyler" he said. "such a kill joy" then the music started and they began to dance beautifully together in a american version of the tango and a bit of ballet lifts mixed in with it.

Chase walked into the studio. He waited for his partner.

They finished the dance with Skyler's back bent and her arms bending over almost touching the floor with one of her legs in the air. And Derek was the only thing holding her up. Then he pulled her up after the music ended, "....should we go again?" he asked.

Skyler nodded, "yeah..we need to work on our lifts" she said smiling. "im buying drinks today...you want something?" she asked him.

He nodded, "yeah...just water is fine" he said.

Skyler nodded and went to go buy drinks.

Miranda watched Derek and Skylar dancing. She felt a pang of jealousy in her gut. She could do all the moves Skylar was pulling off. ((can they be best friends? skylar and miranda i mean)) Miranda saw chase and waved.

Chase smiled at Miranda and waved back.

Andy ran into the studio.

Miranda smiled. "Hey Andy. barely made it, huh?"

"Yeah," she grinned.

Chase walked over, "Hey guys,"

Skyler came back and tossed Derek his drink. She opened her bottle of water and took a drink.

Derek did the same. Then he saw the group of people.

Skylar noticed them to and she ran over and hugged Miranda, "good morning miranda" she smiled.

Miranda smiled. "hey. ugh. I have to do my independent dances again today! I love hip hop, but sometimes you want a partner." she glanced at Derek.

Andy looked at everyone.

Chase grinned.

Derek looked at her and walked over, "ill be your partner anytime babe" he said flirtily.

Skyler leaned into Miranda's ear, "he's really flirty and always pulls moves on girls...so be careful....but if you like him you can have him" she smiled, "ill wish you luck" she said whispering to her. Then she leaned away from her ear and stood in the somewhat circle of people.

"Soo who's got hip hop?" Chase asked.

Andy smiled, "I do!"

Miranda rolled her eyes. "You wish." she flipped her hair and turned her back on him, and turned towards Andy again. She really liked Derek, but she wasn't good at admitting her felings so this was how she covered it up.

Skyler and Derek both smiled. Derek said, "I do too today. I was just practicing our up-coming show at the theatre with Skyler for our next grade" he said to the guys standing beside Miranda.

Skyler nodded, "i have hip-hop today too" she smiled.

Andy smiled, "Cool. I'm Andy." she said.

Chase looked at Everyone, "Im Chase, Andy's brother."

miranda ignored Derek and smiled at Skylar. "Cool. What level routine?"

((what does dance levels mean and how high do they go? I dont dance very often...i only watch them and learn the moves and stuff heh...heh =_=' lol faces))

Skyler smiled, "as you heard from him my name is skylar" she smiled happily.

Derek smiled as well and then looked at Andy, "im Derek" he said winking to her.

((its just the level u compete on. for our sake, lets say level 10 is the highest, but its professional. lets say the highest in our dance studio is 7))
Miranda sighed. so he did play every girl. She turned around and walked over to the cd player. She cranked up her song and started dancing. she was using moves that only she could do becuase she made them up. she looked amazing.

Andy rolled her eyes.

Chase watched Miranda, smiling.

Miranda ignored all her surroundings and let the music take her over. She started doing all these fancy gymnastic and dance moves/tricks combined.

Chase sat and watched.

Miranda was about to land her triple back handspring twist, when the teacher walked in. she landed it and turned around to face the teacher.

Chase walked in for Hip Hop class.

Miranda got ready for hip hop class. she went to stand next to Chase. "Hey, what did you think?" She whispered. After all that, she was barely sweating.

"Wow. I thaught that was amazing. You were hot out there!" Chase grinned.

Andy walked into his hop class.

Miranda blushed. "Thanks." She smiled as Andy alked in. She waved her over.

Chase smiled.

Andy walked over to Chase and Miranda, "Hey," she grinned.

miranda smiled. "Hey. I'm so excited for this class. Hip hop is my specialty.

"Me too!" Andy grinned, clapping her hands quickly.

Chase chuckled, watching them.

Miranda giggled. "This is gonna be fun."

"Yup!" she smiled, standing by Miranda.

Miranda smiled too. She glanced at Skylar and Derek. She walked over to Skylar. "What do you do if you like a guy, but he literally filrts with every girl in sight?" she whispered into her ear.

Skyler smiled, "make him fall for only you" she smiled. "but it will be tough for you to get Derek to take you seriously. You have to pull every stop to get him" she said whispering and then she smiled.

Derek raised an eyebrow wondering the two girls were talking about. He shrugged and walked over and lined up ready for the class.

Miranda nodded. "All I can do is dance, sing, and play some instruments. I don't think its enough to grab his full attention. He missed my dance earlier. I pulled off my best stunts in that!"She sighed as Derek walked away.

Skyler smiled, "i wouldnt be to sure...he was watching you the whole time. You got a piece of his interest. He was basically staring and watching with a small amount of blush going on. I know him inside out" she smiled. "dont worry i wish you luck" she said giggling lightly, "come on i think class is 'bout to start" she smiled.

Miranda nodded, slightly cheered by the fact that he was watching her. She walked over to the teacher and stood next to Derek. She made sure Skylar was on her other side.

Skyler smiled and stood beside her waiting for the teacher to tell them what to do.

Derek glanced at Miranda as she stood by him and then he looked back at the teacher smiling like his usual self.

Miranda smiled to herself. She waited for the teachers instructions.

The teacher looked around. "Today, class, is a hip hop day. Who would like to demonstrate? How about Miranda and Derek. Both of you put out your best moves.

Derek blinked then shrugged, "fine with meh" he said as he got into character to dance hip-hop. He stepped out of the line of people and stood with his arms across his chest his light muscles showing as they flexed from his arms being folded across his chest.

Skyler smiled and watched.

Miranda stared in amazment at her teacher. She walked over and stood next to Derek. As soon as the music started, she started a routine similar to the one she did before except more complicated and harder. She gave herself over to the music and let her body move to the beat. She started dancing and flipping all sround the room.

Derek smiled and he began to dance from the level 6 category of there school. His body in perfect sync with the music he smiled and danced gracefully yet sharply and with power like hip-hop usually was.

Miranda ignored him. She started doing some of her best level 7 moves.

Derek smirked as she did and then he began to many level 7 moves as well. He closed his eyes getting even more obsorbed into the rythm of the music as he danced.

Miranda wanted to try level 8 moves to beat him, but they were pretty much proffessional moves and she hadnt perfected them yet. She could brake her neck doing them, but she did anyway. She pulled a bunch of level 8 moves perfectly.

Derek had stopped dancing as the music ended. He stretched lightly and yawned, "...you know your supposed to stay in the school dance curriculur right?" he said smiling, "but nice moves" he said. "we'll really have to dance some time...one on one and show off our moves" he smiled. He looked at his watch, "...i gotta leave class early today. I gotta go visit my uncle in the hospital" he said to the teacher. And he really wasnt lying. He really did have to go see his uncle.

Miranda nodded as he left. She walked over to Skylar. "How was that? i probably shouldn't have doen the moves at the end, but I need him to notice me."
