Darel chewed on the straw, he unplugged his headphones and chucked the book at the wall in the library; "I give!" he stood and stormed out of the public library, he gave up, "Stupid school, stupid homework..."

Darel stopped, feeling for his phone, "Damn... I left my cell in there..." he looked back, "I can't go back now... but..." he looked to he ground, then sighed and moped back to the library; he passed by someone, and couldn't help but laugh as he watched her jam out to her ipod.

"Having fun?" he laughed.

"Making a fool out of myself... again. You mind doing me a favor?"

"I left my cell in the library, mind grabbin it for me?"

((bye bye))

"Thank you!" he shouted after her, then ducked away before she could open the door.

Kennedy walked on the sidewalk, not knowing where she was going

Darel sighed, and leaned against a street lamp post, he looked over and spotted Kennedy; then waved.

Kennedy saw Darel wave, she waved back.

"I... uh... it's not important..." he adverted eyes with her.

Cj sat at the only starbucks in town and was downing a cappuccino, doing his homework. He was also people watching, just out of habit. He knew basically everyone here, since it's a small town, but didnt feel like talking to anyone.

Cj got up, packed his stuff and left. He decided to walk home, didnt wanna bug anyone for a ride right now.

"I kinda threw a book, and stormed out."

Cj started to walk past the library and saw Darel and Sydney. He started over to them. When her got their he said "Hey! What's up man?? Hi Syd. How's everything goin??"

Kennedy walked around

"What's it?" Cj asked.

"Just on my way home. You guys having an argument here?? I'll go, its okay." Cj said taking a step back.

Suddenly there was a BOOM! followed by something that sounded like "eeeeeEEEEAAAHHH!" Seth slammed into the ground, covered in soot.

Seth sat up. "Ouch." He groaned. "A little less powder next time."

"Yup, just fine." Seth said brushing off the soot. He got some of the soot off his hair to reveal the white.

"Other than blowing myself up for the..." He paused to think about it. "23rd time, I'm fine."

"I dunno. There's just something thrilling about how my heart skips a beat when the drop of one substance or another goes into another and becomes a bomb just waiting to be thrown! And if it blows up in my face I just tweak it a little to see if that's what I got wrong."

"Hasn't happened yet." Seth said

Seth shrugged, sending more soot onto the ground.

Seth grimaced. "Luckily I built my own shack to experiment in, my parents were getting tired of the roof shaking."

"You are one freaky kid Seth. No one can beat you." Cj said. "I meant in a good way. Hope you know that." He added, looking around.

Seth scoffed. "In an explosives match no one could beat me. In a fist fight, I'm out of my depth."

"That you sure are. Why dont you try out for football??" Cj asked curiously. "Well I guess I'll get going. You guys can finish your chat and Seth, get yourself cleaned up." He chuckled under his breath, looking at Seth.

Seth made a face. "Sports and me are a bad mix." HE brushed more soot off him.

"I wouldn't care if you played football better than me, so long as I can kick your trash at a video game."

"Wanna bet." Seth grinned. "You wouldn't last long against the traps I set in Halo."

"How about a day at the amusement park?" He said.

"First I need to clean off, then we can get to the butt kicking." He said walking towards his house.

"Yeah." He said, stopping for her to catch up.

Seth led her to his house and brought her to the entertainment room. "Wait here while I get this soot off me." He said, heading to the shower room.

Seth came back out clean, his hair spiked up. He grabbed two paddles and gave one to her, then started the game.

Seth put one one of his custom maps. "See if you can avoid the traps." He grinned. "And me."

((Dang. You should try it, Halo 1 2 and 3 are rated M and the console that they play on is an X-Box 360))
Seth moved his character, aiming for Sydney's.

Seth smiled as he turned off the game. "That was fun." He said.

"I can't cheat on this game." He said, holding up his hands. "The programmers made sure of that."

"Thanks." Seth said. "You don't have to though if you don't want."

"All right." Seth said. "We can start tomorrow, so that it's a full day."

"See ya then." He said. "That is if I don't blow something up again."

"I promise not to die yet." He said grinning.

"See ya." He said. He walked to his room and went to sleep, tired after blowing up again.

Seth yawned and showered.

Seth had just gotten out the shower. "Hello?"

"Whenever you think is good." Seth said.

"All right." Seth said. "Later." He hung up the phone and got dressed.

Seth came down 5 stairs and slipped down the last 12. He answered the door. "Hi." He said.
