Just Reading discussion

I have started reading the Isabel Dalhousie series by Alexander McCall Smith and I am really enjoying it. The first two books in the series, 'The Sunday Philosophy Club' and 'Friends, Lovers, Chocolates' had more of a mystery feel/premise. The book I am currently reading in the series, 'The Right Attitude to Rain' is more of a charachter drama. We see more of Isabel's life and learn more about what makes her tick. While I do miss the mystery aspect it is still a good read.
