I am looking for a book that is very current, and explains the economic crisis, the Bush bailout, as well as the Obama policies. Does anyone know of anything that is as comprehensive as I am dreaming of???

The Two Trillion Dollar Meltdown: Easy Money, High Rollers, and the Great Credit Crash is a good start, but it's not quiiite as current as you're looking for. The revised edition came out in February '09, and it did an amazing job at getting me up to date up to that point. It doesn't touch on anything Obama's done, though. I wrote a review of it pretty recently, which you're obviously welcome to check out. It's also quite short, which is a plus when you're trying to catch up...
Recently read: Requiem for a Species. This book is a game changer as far as how critical the global warming situation is and why the world continues to ignore our march towards extinction.
