Description on goodreads:
"First Betsy Taylor loses her job, then she's killed in a car accident. But what really bites is that she can't seem to stay dead. And now her new friends have the ridiculous idea that Betsy is the prophesied vampire queen, and they want her help in overthrowing the most obnoxious power-hungry vampire in five centuries."
At the time of posting this, 33 people voted Undead and Unwed as being a humorous paranormal novel (see goodreads list for Humorous Paranormal books)
I first read this novel back in June 2009 and breezed through the entire series thereafter. I love humorous paranormal books and started the goodreads list mentioned in the previous post. There is definitely a reason that this book is listed as #1 on that list.
I am not normally a girly-girl who likes to shop, etc. You don't have to be to enjoy this book.
I hope that some of you will read this book this month. I think it's very enjoyable. I might just have to do a re-read myself...
There's only one copy at the library and there are already 2 holds on it but hopefully I can join you for this one before the end of the month. The only humourous paranormal I've read is You Slay Me and I enjoyed that so I'm sure I'll like this one too.
I think I should try this one.... don't know if it is really my cuppa but I will never know if I dont try! No promises but I will see if I can try to squeeze this one in.
I think this will by my April BHB Read. Due to my limited reading, I only pick one every month.Hmm...now to decide whether I want this as an audiobook or print. Library has it in both format.
Can someone tell me if this is written in first person POV?
YZ, yes this book is in First person. I immensely enjoyed this and it was funny as heck. I went through the first, four or five books immediately after as well. The series does go downhill so much so that I gave it up with no regrets around book six. But the first few books are really good.

Feels like sitting at the kitchen and listening to a friend telling you stories. : )
I read Undead and Unwed in February, so rather than rereading this one, I readUndead and Unappreciated. From someone who is not generally a chick-lit or an urban-fantasy fan, this is big news, especially when I liked them! In fact, I like this series better than the Sookie books (hey, it's allowed!), and just requested another one from the library.

Have you tried paranormal chick-lit? Would you like to see what paranormal books are out there that will likely make you laugh? Why not read this book with us in April and discuss? :)
