Didn't look to see what you've already read, but all the above series are interesting and about vampires :)
Since your posting on the PNR group I'd suggest Lynsay Sands Argenaeu series, Molly Harper's Jane Jameson series or Chloe Neill's Chicagoland vampire series
I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. They're vampires on the non-conventional way.
I also really liked this series. The Kyndred series are a separate series, but connected.
House of Night are Young Adult, but they're neat reads.
Also Young Adult are the Vampire Academy series. Also quick reads.
thanks everyone i am currently on the vampire academy series and im loving it every step of the way. im so addicted that im almost donewith the second book
Amber - One of my favorites is the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. Glass Houses is the first book. Give it a try - I bet you'll love them!
the House of Night series ^ is fantastic the story line is amazing and the characterization keeps me so hooked on whats gonna happen next.

Escape -- I have the Joss Ware trilogy sitting on my desk, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet :)
My fave vamp series is
.The BDB series is good, too, but like the reader above said non conventional.

I loved that series and devoured it in a heart beat. I was so bummed to find out I would have to wait till 2011 for more of Victoria, Max and Sebastian (heavy sigh).

I third on the House of Night series. I read them in a matter of days, because I couldn't put them down. Now the 7th book, BURNED, is coming out in less than a month, and I can't wait!!!!
Kay wrote: "Amber - One of my favorites is the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. Glass Houses is the first book. Give it a try - I bet you'll love them!"I LOOOVE Morganville. I devoured the entire series and I am patiently (ok, ok, NOT so patiently) awaiting the 8th! Yay! Only four more weeks!!
Oh and it's not strictly a vamp book, but I liked Lilith St. Crow's Strange Angels series. It was better than I thought it would be and I have to know what's going to happen!
I think from Thursday Rachel Caine will be doing her "quote of the day" again - for the month before a new Morganville book comes out we normally get a teaser quote daily. Should keep us going until Kiss of Death is released!

Jeri Ready-Smith has a vampire series. The series starts with
followed by
and
. I believe Bring on the Night comes out this summer. The first book was really good. Now if you have a really good library or used bookstores there are a couple of older series out there that are no longer in print. However, I have seen them recently.
- Kiss of the Vampire by Nancy Baker
- The Crimson series by Trisha Baker
- The Austra series & The Dracula Continues series by Elaine Bergstrom
- The Saint-German series by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro
for a lot of laughs try Molly Harper's Jane Jameson series. For a different kind of vampire book try Nancy Haddock's Oldest City Vampire series.
For a great vampire couple try Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series.
good & bad vampires with lots of shifters, try Sookie Stackhouse by Harris or Anita Blake by Hamilton.
Want to read a good vampire book?Dracula
Also,
Hellsing, Volume 1
These books are the epitome of awesome in vampire lit
Night Huntress Series- funny book, kick ass heroin, hot vamp
Black Dagger brotherhood- nice plot
Chicagoland Vampire- modern, urban, easy read
Vampire Academy- you already know how good it is ;)
I posted this already but for me the best vampire book I have ever read was A Discovery of Witches and I didn't even know the main male character was a vampire. Surprised the heck out of me as I had not read any reviews. He is incredible, sexy, brilliant, and complex - and 1500 years old. It is set in modern times. It is not YA but not something an older teen should not read - very sensual scenes tho.
Has anyone mentioned Midnight Breeds by Lara Adrian? Starts with
Also Vampires in America by D. B. Reynolds. Starts with
On the lighter side there's Love at Stake by Kerrelyn Sparks. Starts with
These are all adult series.
Karrelyn Sparks is a good writter. Me and my friend got really into her books.a good vampire book is; The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark #1) by Kresley Cole.
i loved vampire book about lynsay sands,, interesting and sexy, LOL,, :) oh and kresley cole, not pure all about vampire but still great!
I third the recommendation for A Discovery of Witches. One of the best vampire books I have read all year.No one has mentioned Mary Janice Davidson's Queen Betsy vampire series. It is chick lit with vampires. The main character accidentally becomes a vampire. She is obsessed with shoes and is kind of dumb. If you want a light, fluffy read this series is good. The first 4 books were great and after that the series went way downhill and I don't read it anymore.
I also like Jennifer Turner's Eternal series. There are 2 books so far, Eternal Seduction book 1, and Eternal Hearts book 2. Very old vampires and lots of creative worldbuilding. The first book has a homeless drug addict for a heroine (sounds weird I know, but it works out) and the second book has a vampire assassin as the main character vampire.
The first book Eternal Seduction, is free right now on Amazon. I bought it when it was first released and loved it. http://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Seducti...

You're right, it was a great series, but Undead & Unfinished was really bad. It was confusing, and the end was horrible. I purchased the latest (Undead & Undermined) but have not picked it up. I keep hesitating because of the one before it.
Sparks series Love At Stakes is very good. Those vampires have some differnet powers and vulnerabilities then in many other series, but you have to be able to deal with a Scottish dialect (the books take place in modern times, just some of the characters are from old Scotland). The majority of the characters are vampires, but it has some shifters.Lynsay Sands series the Argeneau's is also very good. They try to blend in with humans. They are very funny & great characters. It has just vampires in it.
Molly Harper, Jane Jameson series, is very funny & a light read. It has vampires, a witch, and bitchy family members.
Lynda Hilburn, Kismet Knight series, has vampires and witches. The main character is a shrink and some of her clients are wannabe vamps and then a few are actually vamps, and evntually she ends up with the master of the city.
Nancy Haddock, Oldest City Vampire series, has vampires, shifters, and witches. The lead vampire was buried alive and was dug up after a few hundred years. She now has a human sponsor that is also her best friend. It's a cute series, not full of blood and gore.
Laura Wright, Mark of the Vampire, is a good series about three brothers.
Feehan, Carpathians series, has 22 books so far and has a lot of characters in it. It's a good series, with some being better then others. Also has witches in it. The Carpathians can shape shift.
Glory St. Clair series by Gerry Bartlett is a very funny series. Vamps and a few shape shifters.
