I'm Jen and have recently rediscovered my love of reading! As a child I read for hours on end, my very first love being Enid Blyton's Famous Five which I started to read at the age of 5. I had only read a bit on and off since I finished my degree a few years ago until I borrowed One for the Money by Janet Evanovich from my sister-in-law, I loved it and my reading passion was rekindled!! I do like to read various genres but my current favourites are Janet Evanovich , paranornal romance and urban fantasy. I thought it would be a great idea to track how many pages I read as I am already recording how many I read and I love to make lists!! Look forward to getting to know everyone and getting some good recommendations too.
I am Terri and I love reading almost all genres. Mixing it up keeps it interesting and fun for me. I Live in VA and work near the white house where I get to see all sorts of interesting protests throughout the year. Just hate when they have those D*$m megaphones!I keep surprising myself with how many pages I have read so far, have upped my goal once and might end up doign it again later in the year.
Glad you setup the group Jen!
HeyI'm Ahlaam and i have started venturing out of reading the romance genre since last year. Now i read everything that catches my interest. I've joined the 50 books challenge and i saw this today and decided to keep track of the pages as well.
Hi there, I'm Lisa and I'm a constant reader and have been ever since I can remember. I tend to read an awful lot of fantasy, sci-fi and horror with a few sprinklings of classics or other popular books that I get handed.Whilst I've been keeping tracks of how many books I read, I've never thought to keep track of how many pages (which, considering rather a lot of the books I have sat on my shelves are rather bulky could be quite monstrous!) but being a sucker for lists couldn't help myself when I was invited to join this group - thanks Jen for the invite.
Hello All, I am Sara and have come back to books in the last 10 years. I gave up books and was working hard for many years and then got laid off. Well, having no money means finding resources and I went back to the library. Now I read every night and usually three to five books at a time. Lately I have wanted lighthearted cozy mysteries followed by novels and mysteries. Some of my favorite authors include Arturo Perez-Reverte, Elizabeth Peters, Louise Penny, Elizabeth George. I've never tracked page numbers, but looking forward to it!
I am terri. Have already read a LOT. Last year had a lot of things happen where I didnt have as much time or energy to read as much as I like so this year trying to be back in my normal mode again.Read almost all genres. Favorite tend to be paranormal, mysteries, horror and fantasy.
Hi everyone! I'm Lisa (aka Gus) and I'm a total book addict :) I read pretty much anything fantasy or paranormal! I also have a soft spot in my heart for chick lit and memoirs as well. I think this is an awesome idea to track how many pages I've read.
Hi everyone, I'm Ronda and I'd like to say thanks to Jen for leading me to this group. I already joined one group called 144 books read in 2010 so why not "All the pages you read" This will probably give me a shock after keeping up with it - LOLI love to read paranormal, romance, suspense, mystery, and I love fantasy. I try to mix them up so I won't get bored. The only thing I don't read is Horror.
Happy reading everyone
Hi everyone, I'd like to thank Jen for inviting me to this group. When I'm not writing I can usually be found with my nose in a good book. I love paranormal, romance and fantasy. I'm sure I'll be in for a shock when I see just how many pages I get through!
Hello fellow Book Addicts! My name is Kat and I just want to thank Jen for the invite. I love reading PNR,UF and YA books. I look forward to seeing how many pages everyone will have read by the end of the year. This is a great idea. Happy reading!
Konnichiwa! Im Serena DeNardo and Im a the kind of reader that goes days without then cant put a book down. As a kid all read was Issac Asimov and Clive Barker and if I liked a book I would read it over and over and over again. Now, i like alot of mystery and horror- and now that Im freshly single after 15 years - i like a little romance! And Ive broke myself of the reading the same book over and over - sometimes. If i start to read a book and I dont read the 1st 3 chapters with out putting it down....i'll probably never pick it up again.
I'm Kelley Anne! I am a huge reader! I really couldn't handle it if I didn't have the chance to read. I'm too addicted! I mostly read PNR/UF but whenever I need a change, I typically pick up a political thriller.
Hi Everyone, I'm Elena.Recently I've been reading a lot in the name of procrastination. Anything genre as long as it has a little romance theme (bonus if there is smut!)
I'm interested to see how many pages I log!
Hi All, I started my thread but never introduced myself. I'm Kim (sorry but I don't use my full first name), I read for the escapism and for my me time (busy working mummy) and am interested in seeing just how much I do read.
Hi everyone! Welcome to the group. Looking forward to seeing how everyone gets on with their pages totals, I have been surprised that I've read as many as I have so far this year.
Hello all I'm Samantha, you can call me Sam or Sammie either works. I usually if I am lucky can read a 400page book in 6 hours but this is a curious thing so I am going to try it and see how it works.
Hello Everyone, my name is Alisa (platas0827) and I have always loved to read. As we have all seen, sometimes life gets away from you and you forget what makes you happy until something happens that reminds you of what you love to do. My grandmother passed a year and a half ago and I was lost, the only thing that I could do to make me happy was read, and I truely believe my grandmother gave me back my reading... although I dont think she ment for me to become addicted once again..lol..I applied for and got a job at the bookstore I was going to as my part-time job and I LOVE IT!!! It gives me an outlet for my reading by enableing me to speak to others whom are like me and love to read, as does Goodreads... plus... it supports my habit..lol..
Hi I'm Jane and have become even more addicted to reading since joining GR's and made lots of new friends along the way. I already keep a page count each month but will be interesting to see how it compares with others here!
Hi everyone! my name is MJ and I'm a book addict :P I read everyday and keep buying more books and I can barely keep up but my TBR list is seriously getting out of hand so this group will probably be perfect for me in helping me keep track of everything :P

Hi Sam, Alisa, Jane and MJ. Great to have more reading addicts! Look forward to seeing what you all read and how much.
Hi Guys! I'm Kristen, I'm 25 and I love YA books and generally in the paranormal/fantasy category. :) I'm looking forward to spending an hour crunching numbers to figure out what page number I'm at thusfar this year.
HALLO! Yeah it's quite interesting to see how much you actually do read throughout a period of time. I have read 14 books in June alone totaling over 5K in pages and I am shocked and awed over it too, I'm like wow really that many pages THAT'S CRAZY!
Hi Katie and Kristen, welcome to our page counting group! Look forward to seeing how many you read, I've surprised myself!
My name is Asia. I discovered this page by pure accident and since then grew more and more fond of it. Up until now I haven’t realised how many great books there are I hadn’t even heard of. I read almost all kinds of books but I don’t particularly enjoy experimental literature. My favourite genres tend to be fantasy, science-fiction and historical fiction.Looking forward to getting to know you:)
Hi my name is Jean. This is a good challenge as I am a very slow reader
unless I find a book that grips me.
I love to read yet tend to become distracted, starting another before finishing the one I'm reading
and have a pile to get through.
Hi there! I just signed up on goodreads about a month ago and I was going to wait until 2011 to join this group but I don't want to wait anymore. I'll track my pages for the rest of the year and maybe this will help me determine what my goal should be for next year.I'll be starting with the book I just finished over the week end, The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
Let's see how much I can get done by the end of the year.
Hi all! I'm going to start tracking in 2011, but I'm excited about this group. I joined the "144 Books in 2010" Group this year, and it was HARD. I didn't get anywhere near 144, but did break the 100 book mark so I was excited. I want to keep challenging myself to read more, so I thought a page-challenge was a great idea. Looking forward to it!
