Jas (10jbean01) | 4 comments Jocelynn Drake's Nightwalker series is probably one of my favorites (at least of this year). Mira is awesome and I love her cavalier, confident, powerful, and caring attitude. She isn't super whiny like a lot of main characters can get and I also like that she doesn't have any annoying grudges/dislikes, whatever, preventing her from enjoying life. I also love the dynamics between her and Danaus! I can't wait for the fourth one in the series to come out, I'm hoping they will FINALLY progress in their relationship

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I love a lot of paranormal romance series. My favorite are the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward, Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole, Demonica by Larissa Ione, Psy/Changelings by Nalini Singh, The Ghostwalkers and the Carpathians by Christine Feehan. I'm sure there are more I am not thinking of now.

My first romance love is historical romance. My favorite historical romance authors are Lisa Kleypas, Christina Dodd, Connie Brockway, Laura Kinsale, Jodi Thomas, Loretta Chase, and some others I'm forgetting.

My all time favorite author is Anne Stuart, who writes darker romances.

I also love Urban fantasy: Cal Leandros by Rob Thurman, Harry Dresden by Jim Butcher, Nightside by Simon R. Green, Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs.

I'm a big classic horror fan as well.

Oh, and I love interracial romances and Harlequin romances.

Kehinde Adeniyi (kadeniyi21) apart from my love of the classics, i love historicla romance novels. i love the fact that they can't be openly into sex(at least the femaies) but they ogle the men and all the other flirtacious things they do. have't really read any paranormal romance novels. but i plan to. i love Whitney My Love

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I prefer historical romance over contemporary for similar reasons. Also, I think they're more romantic. JMO.
