Werewolf discussion

I have seen movies and read books where werewolves transform two basic ways, one is the full moon senerio and the other is the skin-walker, has anyone read a story where the transformation is different?

ummm. well in The Mortal instruments they change whenever they want. In Shiver well what can i say its not really werewolves but actually wolves, Im currently reading the maximum ride series and well it has werewolves but they were genetically modified werewolves that change in anger and get this there actually some with wings partwolves/partbird. :) hope that helps and ill keep checking

Interesting. Did you read the book New Moon? I am going to check that out.
I am doing some research for the next book I am writing. It is a skin walker series, but I am thinking about adding a different twist to this book.
Do you mind if I ask your opinion on some plot twists since you like to read this type of book?

Yeah i read NEw moon , but well they explain in the last book that they are really not werewolves their actually shape shifters that their ancesters of the tribe chose the wolves to shift into, in the book the author adapts the legend that werewolves only change during a full moon, a the indian tribe in NEW MOON have ancesters that have that guess gene to shape shift, and it just happens that the symbole of the wolf is what they chose :)
