Axis Powers Hetalia discussion

Heard Fundimation is going to do an english dub of APH, so what ya think about it? For it, against it? What voice actors should play what characters?

Worst idea ever, but I'll be okay with it as long as they don't change the Marukaite Chikyuu songs to english because I would find that an insult.

In the original song you know Italy's song they talked about boots and drinks. I didn't know what that ment and thought it was really weird. But then I watch this movie and I was like "Oh now I get it there talking about drinks." It just proves that even the small details need backround information to understand them.

Yup. >^^< But I love all the songs the characters sing, especially the one where North Italy is singing about making pasta, best song to listen to when making pasta.

I disagree the songs were easy to unserstand, when I'm tired and my history brain was shut off(during summer, now it's heading back to what I learned last year).

I disagree, depends on how exposed the reader is to different cultures and how old they are. Because someone whos in 8th grade wouldn't know as much compare to someone in a highschool.

It also depends on the teacher, I learned about all of that in a mix of seventh and eighth grade, maybe it's the school...>_> Evil school of evil students and teachers...

It has been rated R in the US...a friend and I are still trying to figure out why...

Hmm I don't know why either? Its strange animes are usually tv14 or MA, but never R. Oh well its not like my parents are gonna care if i watch it or not. But I think it should be tv14.

It'd make more sense as a TV14, but strangely enough America isn't that smart when it comes to some things.

And with all the shows they have on tv right now in the US are much worse than APH. Now I really wonder why it would be rated R.

I guess they are scared...
Only things we've noticed are:
France might be naked a few times...but this is censored.
Italy and Romano lay in the same bed with they're hair intertwined...but when was that R rated?

I have no cule why they would think the Italy/Romano part would be bad.
Right now I'm bored, so I'm going to tell you a funny story that happened today.

So I was in my Spanish class and my partner and I were supose to play this drawing game. You have to draw a picutre and then say the word in Spanish. So my partner drew a rectangluar shape that looked like a pice of paper with the the name Mexico City on it. So I guessed the first thing that came to my mind which was ID. All my friends looked at me funny and then we all laughted about it later on.

Only in Hetalia would an ID be owned by Mexico City, and only I would say the first thing that comes to my mind.

I had went to where they keep collectables and decided to look at the small amount of belt buckles they had, an Autobot one and another one I can't really remember. I looked down and noticed a Burt and Ernie one, their faces were on clouds and the clouds were connected by a rainbow, and what to be under this belt buckle...but a box of lotion...

Yeah its partly my fault for not wanting Rp's which every single group has, and the fact that APH hasn't been largely acknowleged in the anime/manga community yet.

You can't blame an intire disease on one country that doesn't seem fair. And what of Europe they have the Pluge, and Americans are forced to take most the blame for Global Warming? Also Australia has hundreds of creepy bugs, and poisionous animals. You know the world isn't an entirly safe as most people think it is.

Not really true, Eqyptains treated them like gods, and would mummify them when a pharoh died to put the cat in the tomb to bring the spirit good luck.

During the Salem Witch Trials cats were killed because people believe they were demons and were helping the witches...witches who were just mis-judged humans who were being killed because of mainly two girls who didn't want to get in trouble for something.
