Hello! My name is Harper. I actually got into the IAD series after reading a friend's review of A Hunger Like No Other. I ordered it from PaperBackSwap, glanced at the first few pages, and then let it sit on my shelf for months. Eventually I decided to give it a try and it was all downhill from there. Within a couple of weeks I'd read all of the series, including the novellas, and I've re-read most of at least once and parts of the others. I love the world KC created and the characters. Out of all of the paranormal romance series I’ve read so far, I'd probably say that this is my favorite. :) I can't wait for the next installment!
Hey, my name's Leah. I actually got into IAD because Gena Showalter (who I already loved) was always talking about Kresley and her books. So I figured I'd give it a try. I went out and bought Bowe/Mari's book and Cade/Holly's book. I read those and then found Nikolai/Myst's as a free download online and I was lost from then on. This is one of my favorite paranormal romance series of all the ones I've read. I haven't read her Brothers trilogy but I do own them. I can't wait for the next IAD book :)
Hi, I'm Ilse, and I'm a Cole addict. What can I say, she's brilliant. I fell for the world she created, hook-line-and-sinker. There's no going "cold turkey" on this author.

I told you that you were going to love Lachlain! There's just something about him that's so sexy. Sebastian, in No Rest for the Wicked, is another one of my favorites. Him and Kaderin together? *shiver* Sexy stuff ;)
You know, Vale, it's so hard to pick which books/characters are my favorite. I always think I can pick, like, one vampire, one Lykae, and one demon that's my favorite but I never can. LOL. They're all too fantastic.
Exactly. If I really had to, I might be able to pick a favorite, but I just love all of them that I can't narrow it down!
Thanks for the invite Leah!! I looooooove Kresley Cole. Her characters are all unique and very, very entertaining! I love when I get to read about Nix and I think its hilarious when she pops up on people, especially when they have been looking/talking about her and it always scares them,LOL!My favorite book....ummm, well I haven't read them all yet, LOL, so I'll wait until the series is completely done before I try to decide ;)
Welcome to the group, Jas, and you are very welcome for the invite :)Ang, I can't wait to hear what you have to say about my man Sebastian ;P
Welcome, Jasmin!Angela, I'm sure you're going to love "No Rest of the Wicked." I really liked Sebastian.
Wicked can't wait i got so many books to read..lol..Does any one read more then 1 at a time, i think i might try see how i go haha
Hi, I love paranormal romance books, but IAD are one of my favourites, I think I managed to read them all within a few weeks! I love series when the characters cross over in a more then just a periphiary way (okay i think that sentence doesn't make much sense, but hopefully you know what I mean!)
Hello. My name is Cher. First, let me say...Thank you Vale for starting this thread.I first got into the vampire series when the "hype" started with Stephanie Meyer's 'Twilight Series'. After I practically raved threw those books, I needed something else to start reading, something with a bit more adult bite. Went threw 'The Midnight Breed'Series, then 'BDB' series. Then I came across the 'IAD' series. Can I tell ya...I LOOOOOVE this series the most!! I love the idea that KC did not just stick with vampires, but included all lore kind. I love all the characters, some more than others. Hands down... Cade is my favorite... "bugger this"... Sexy as hell. I find Kaderin the Coldhearted, to be one of the most vivious bi**h in this whole series so far. But I love her too. Yea baby!!! LOL.

Hey Angela, I guess you could read a few books at the same time, because KC do repeat some reasoning in each book. But I think you will find that the story kinda gets outta wack, because some stories are background in another story. Therefore when you're reading a new book, KC keeps referring to something that has already happen. (Does that make sence?) Example: In 'Dark Need at Night's Edge"-Conrad Wroth's story- KC mention background detail of Murdoch Wroth's story, which she picks up in 'Deep Kiss of Winter:Untouchable'. I just found that to be interesting... sorry for the long winded explanation. LOL

Yep! Sebastian is HOT!!! Can you tell I love this series? ;)
Cher wrote: "Angela wrote: "Is there going to be a group read sometime soon..lol.."A group read?..."
Cher, a group read is when the whole group reads the same book and then we discuss it in a thread.

"Demon From the Dark" is coming out on 8/31, if I'm remembering right.

I'd recommend reading the books in order, unless you don't mind potential spoilers. The books frequently reference events that happened in the previous books.

Angela, we were discussing the possibility of doing a re-read of the series as a group when it gets closer to the release date of "Demon From the Dark" in August, but I don't think anything was decided for sure.
I have read all the books as well. Even the last one - "Pleasure of a Dark Prince" But count me in for a re-read of any kind.
Om gosh i have just begun this series..lol.I am currently reading No rest for the wicked. and i am al ready loving Sebastian!!

I'm Danielle. I read If You Dare by KC, and I fell in love with her writing. I picked up A Hunger Like No Other because I wanted to read more by this author. I wasn't heavily into paranormals at that point. But I loved it. I know it's not the favorite of a lot of fans, but I freaking loved that book. I was hooked on this series after that. This is my tied favorite PNR series with the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I cannot pick a favorite book or a favorite hero, but my favorite heroine is Sabine, so far. She's a survivor. Glad to be a part of this group!
