GameFAQs Books & Literature discussion

So, irregardless of what may or may not transpire in this little slice of the internet, I think we ought to at least get things looking like we know what we're doing. In this regard, I think we oughtta try and get some sort of GameFAQs related icon for this thing to give it a little polish. Sort of tired of that question mark.

I'm volunteering myself, as I have some photoshop type experience, as well as the program itself (just don't ask me where I got it...). I guess what I really need to know is what size (in pixels, probably) to make such an icon, and I think we'll probably need Rusty to get it up there.

Embarking on a first effort now, to be posted up here in a bit.

Anyways, first pass at some sort of icon. All feedback or new ideas extremely welcome. It's a little big right now, but I can easily downsize it if needed.



Oh, fiddlesticks. I just realized I should've thrown a book in there somewhere... uhh, expect a new, more obviously book-related version shortly.

Here's the second pass. Gonna sit on this until some feedback comes in. Lemme know what you think, and be brutally, devastatingly honest.

Here's my brutal, devastating honesty: I really just don't care that much about a logo. It could be a picture of a cat with reading glasses and I'd just say "meh, good enough".

Well then, my work here is done.

Yeah, it works. I didn't even think of having a logo or anything--I just wanted to make a group where we could keep track of who was who and such. But nice, in any case.

A cat with glasses would be awesome!!

The logo looks really nice.

It does look good, although I'm also a fan of cats with glasses.

I put one as my icon because they are so cute. If you don't like it I'll take it off.
