How would you describe the mood (happy, sad, tragic, optimistic, exciting) of the novel? What does the author do to establish that mood? Share at least TWO examples from your book.

I think the mood in my book would be sad because Wendy's mom is dead. To establish the mood the author describes how Wendy's feeling at night when the author explained how she sees her mom at night talking to her about things that happened that day and about how she pictures her mom trying to run out of the building and trying to stop herself from picturing those things.

The mood of my novel is both exciting and sad.The author establishes the mood of secrecy pretty well.In my book, the Nazi agent, V.1353, does things that puts the reader in a state where they don't want to put the book down. For example, she came to America to gather intel, as I said in my earlier post. She comes under the alias, Catherine Danielson Carter. She gets married to a scientist who's helping to make the h-bomb. She's sneakily trying to find out the plans so she could report back to the Nazis. What makes it sad is that V.1353 must do wrong and hurtful things to people to achieve her goal.For example, she tries to flee to England because her fellow agents are being executed. She asks her friend to drive her to New York. While resting, she took a pair of scissors and stabbed the innocent man in the chest and dumped his body into a body of water. She took the army car and drove away quickly with no feelings about the person she just murdered.

The mood of my novel is like Destiny because
The narrator makes repeated references to Lyra’s destiny, a fate that is unknown to Lyra herself. It is said that Lyra is destine to put an end to destiny forever. The main struggle in the trilogy occurs between the forces of the Church, who want destiny to exist, and the forces of people like Lord Asriel, who want to eliminate destiny and allow people to control their own lives. This conflict is not just about freedom and knowledge—it’s about the right to live without fate, to be in control of every moment of your life.

The mood of the book is like a rollercoaster. The family has their special good times and then they have to deal with the 1930's great depression.

The mood of this book is Angry. Its Angry because every body in the book so far is mad that they lost the championship game. ( Example 1 -" in my thirty years of coaching the colonols, i have never seen a team lose in such a god awful way!" ) ( Example 2 - "We lost! They whipped us like dogs and we looked like dog sh_t!" )

I think the novel that I'm read is sad because the main character Trina,is bipolar. So she is getting into fights with people in her program and with her mom. For example Trina was a great student who got into a ive leauge college. But since she isn't taking her meds she had to put college on hold.

some thime the mood is hapy then sad, when something happens. like for example she is happy when she know her daughter is safe , and sad when the daughter is in trouble.

the moo9d of my is kind of sad because the charter hollly is facing alot of drama at the fact that she slept with one if her friends boyfriends and that the fact that she lost one of her good friends because she made a bad desicion by sleeping with her now to be friend

The Mood of my book riqht now is both optimistic and sad. Its optimistic because Amir is happy in America. He says "If for nothing else, I embraced America." It's sad because BaBa does not like America. They do things totally different from Afghanistan. He still missed his country. "He took me to an Afghan kabob house in Hayward that night and ordered far too much food." He did this with Amir.

The mood of the book is confusing because the characters dont seem like they know what they want.

The mood of the book is sad. After they get freed from slavery they have it even harder than they had it before. Sadie says in the story, "I used to live with my mama over on the McCloud place, and it got to be too hard over there, be who I is." She also says, while speaking about her husband Jacob, "...look like it was even harder to think he just bein' mean for meanness sake." As you can see, she went through a lot.

THE MOOD OF THE BOOK IS SAD. I SEE BETRAYL IN IT TOO. ITS SAD BECAUSE WHILE MAIA WAS HOME THINKING ABOUT WAYS TO SAVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP,LEIGH WAS OUT KISSING UP ON ANOTHER GIRL. THE AUTHOR TRIES TO PREP US BEFORE HE THROWS IT AT US & HE HAS US THINKING OF NUMEROUS THINGS THAT COULD BE HAPPENING.

I think the mood of this novel would be sad because to me a eating disorder is the last thing i would do. One character that goes by the name of Karen is going thru this. I don't know what it is like to be in her shoes. For her younger brother, Donnie to look after her is one thing that touch me the most in this book. Therefore sad is the mood i would describe for this novel.

well i will say my boy is in between sad and happy. i said this because at the end of book precious real liez she had to stop worry bout her mother and took care her and her family and at the beginning she waz very confuse and didnt have the strength to tell her mother how she feel.......
