Zarek's Point of View:

Dark-Hunter: A soulless guardian who stands between mankind and those who would see mankind destroyed. Yeah, right. The only part of that Code of Honor I got was eternity and solitude.

Insanity: A condition many say I suffer from after being alone for so long. But I don't suffer from my insanity-I enjoy every minute of it.

Trust: I can't trust anyone...not even myself. The only thing I trust in is my ability to do the wrong thing in any situation and to hurt anyone who gets in my way.

Truth: I endured a lifetime as a Roman slave, and 900 years as an exiled Dark-Hunter. Now I'm tired of enduring. I want the truth about what happened the night I was exiled-I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Astrid (Greek, meaning star): An exceptional woman who can see straight to the truth. Brave and strong, she is a point of light in the darkness. She touches me and I tremble. She smiles and my cold heart shatters.

Zarek: They say even the most damned man can be forgiven. I never believed that until the night Astrid opened her door to me and made this feral beast want to be human again. Made me want to love and be loved. But how can an ex-slave whose soul is owned by a Greek goddess ever dream of touching, let alone holding, a fiery star?

This one was my absolute favorite. I love stories where the H/h is trapped together and fall in love. Plus, didn't we get to meet Simi in this one?

Zarek was definitely my favorite Dark Hunter and I'm glad that he made appearances in other books. I am also psyched to see what his role is in the upcoming books since he appeared at the end of Bad Moon Rising to help Ash with Nick!

I really enjoyed this one. Zarek is my favorite Dark-Hunter so far, but Ash holds me in thrall almost every time he's in a scene, so I have a feeling he'll end up at the top of my list eventually too.;-)

So i Finished Dance with the Devil!!!!
And i just wanna start saying by telling all how much i love Zarek!!!! OMG this book was amazing i couldn't pt it down, i cried and i laughed and i got mad and then i fell in love with Z and Astrid!! You find out so much about Z, he has had a pretty Crap life until he meets Astrid.. You get to meet some new characters too, Jess(sundown) Spawn and Sasha, he is Hell funny!!Simi is so funny, i love her i want my daddy!! so cute..
I really enjoyed this book Z is my fave Dark hunter now, after reading about his Crap Crap life omg how sad!! And Ash he is so interesting, he loves all his dark hunters like children..
I hate Artemis what a bitch....

I was reading the back of the next one Kiss of the night, but i dunno i read the first chapter at the end of Z story and i couldn't get into it. Maybe cos im so into Dance with the Devil..lol

Cool, i can't wait..to read them all i am slowly getting there,.lol. from the library i got out the first 7 books hehe cos i new i would read them :) but yeah Wulfs story isn't doing anything for me :( but ill have to keep with it tho i have only read the first chapter lol
Is Ahs story ages away? Yeah Fang was super funny in Talons story..

ash's book is number 15, well worth the wait tho. and fangs is number 18

Zarek's story was so sad and I love that we got to see a lot of Simi.

I loved this story one of my faves so far!!!

One of my absolute favorites as well as his half brother's Valerius Magnus (Seize the Night) story.

I do like Zarek's "kookiness" as much as the next; but my guy is Vane Kattalakis! Loooooooooooooooove his personality. Now (please don't tell anyone coz is a secret), the one that makes my eyes go like a slot machine is Wren. Boooooooooooy that kid is pure passion! The way he can't contain himself whenever he's around Maggie.....Sorry, gotta run, gotta go take a cold shower!

Zarek's book was actually the first one I read in the series...the one that started my insatiable hunger for the DH series. The only book I think I enjoyed more than his so far was Acheron's. omg I just got done reading Wren's story. You're right, I love how his passion goes unchecked around her. Anyway, I'm onto Aidan's story...Upon the Midnight Clear.

I Like the way sherrilyn puts music to her books, like when zarek set the house on fire and he played talking heads burning down the house. Also when she put hinder's get stoned in sin'S book,now their my favourite band. she's a very talented author.

I have to agree with you guys. So far its my favorite one in the dark hunter series. I mean I still have a ways to go but I am sure there will be more great books in the series that will be my favorite too. I just felt so much for Zarek as he was so alone and the punishment he endured made me want to just hold him too. I don't how he did it being so alone and up there in the cold Alaska weather all these centuries. I was glad Simi was in this one too a bit more, I think she is cute and very childlike. What really got me a bit angry was with Artemis for what she has done to keep a secret and how she only thinks of herself. I am still reading the series but hope that somewhere in the end she gets what she deserves and see what it is like to be human. Now on to the next book, Yea!!
