If you have any suggestions on how to make this group better, or if you have any questions at all, leave a comment here. :)

Sans I have a question! Does anyone have a device that will negate the laws of space and time? I need to find a way to get more time to read. ^_^

I'm thinking that maybe there can be an other Kenyon book folder. I also love the League Series!!

Angela, I have not gotten that far in the series to let you know. I love them so much that I broke down and started to buy them but I do know I will read them several times!

message 13: by Julianna (last edited May 05, 2010 11:55AM) (new)

Julianna (authorjuliannad) | 26 comments Holly, were you still going to add a folder for the DH novellas too? If you create the folder, I could probably help with starting the threads if you want me to. JLMK.

Ѽ Cher Ѽ | 29 comments Heya Holly.
Here is my question and /or suggestion ~ how about a thread of the series CORRECT READING ORDER. This series has so many books, short stories, dream-hunter, were-hunter, dark-hunter,DH companion, chronicles of nick etc... I've seen all sort of numbering of the books while browsing all the threads and it just seem out-of-wack... My suggestion only. * smiles*

Ang -PNR Book Lover Reviews (pnrbookloverreviews) | 295 comments Love your idea Cher, that would be so handy to no..I hope she will do it, i would totally use it..

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm not sure of the reading order as well. I check Kenyon's website sometimes but I think even she doesn't even know. LOL!

EXCELLENT idea!
I will see what i can find, and try and get it posted asap!

message 18: by Chasidy (new)

Chasidy | 216 comments I think we should have a character topic. I mean, we all have characters we're ga-ga over. Why not have a specific place where we can chat about each individual character along with what we think or hope the future has in-store for him/her.

Ang -PNR Book Lover Reviews (pnrbookloverreviews) | 295 comments Love that idea!! Oh i hope she does it!!!

message 20: by Chasidy (new)

Chasidy | 216 comments I know, right? Like each folder can be a different character (ie: Acheron, Nick, Artemis, etc...)

Ang -PNR Book Lover Reviews (pnrbookloverreviews) | 295 comments Yes that would be awesome!!

message 22: by KETY (new)

KETY | 9 comments I live in U.S.A...Does anyone know were i can get any of Sherrilyn Kenyons books in French? or audio books in french? do you know how the narrator is for the french version?

message 23: by Corazon (new)

Corazon (corazonsliterature) KETY,
you can order them from Amazon.com or Amazon.fr

About the narrator.... I don't hear audio books, so I don't know who the narrator is or if he/she is good or not.

message 24: by Nessa (new)

Nessa (vanvan) | 1 comments hey,
i started dark-hunters... And finished it . But no ii want to re-read it again, but saw that there is also a diffrent series with nicks story in it. I was wondering if there is any specific order anyone can give me in combining the dark-huntter, were hunter, dream hunter and nicky's storys into onee massive reading order list for me so idontt confuse myself when reading each book... Thank you!!!!

message 25: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments Doesn't anybody remember what book Susan is in.. I can't remember... (dark-hunter)

message 26: by Corazon (new)

Corazon (corazonsliterature) Susan and Ravyn's book:

Dark Side of the Moon (Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter, #10) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

message 27: by Corazon (new)

Corazon (corazonsliterature) Nessa

Nick's series plays before the DH series. It's the story about Nick, when he is a teenager, get in trouble and meets Kyrian.

The "Chronicles of Nick" is a stand alone series and doesn't involve the reading of the DH series.
You can read Nicks book before, during or after the re-read of the Dark Hunters.

message 30: by ♥Xeni♥ (new)

♥Xeni♥ (xeni) Okay, I didn't know where to put this question, but I figured here was as good as any:

Does anyone know where Kenyon got her "Atlantean" language from? It's scattered throughout all the books, but it really came to my attention in The Dream Hunter (with Arik). I did a bit of Google searching of the words but didn't come up with anything.

message 34: by Soraia (new)

Soraia (sharonbhz) | 19 comments Hey Holly, I do have a suggestion but I see some have already beat me to it. I'd love to see a discussion folder for Characters so we can make threads for each individual we'd like to discuss. I would love to share a few choice words about some of them :)

message 35: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments Ok I need some help here I was just on the Dark-Hunter Website and looking at the next book which is Sundown's but you know how is shows who the hero and heroine is there is a picture of a guy in where the herione is and it says it is a girl but... yeah i am totally lost

message 36: by Fangirl Musings (last edited Sep 13, 2010 11:31AM) (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) Hey Cassidy...I think I might have an answer as to why the photograph for Sundown's heroine is a male. His heroine is indeed Abigale (or Abby) as the text indicates. However, I read on Sherri's twitter updates that one of her sites was hacked a few days ago. I wouldn't be surprised if this issue is a result of some of the damage done by the butt hole hackers.

Sherri noted that a few things are still under "construction" in trying to guard her sites against hacking, and that some things might be incorrect, but as soon as possible all will be repaired and corrected.

Hope that helps! :)

message 37: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) Hey Cassidy, just wanted to let you know that the site updated and has corrected the hacker mishap. The photographs are now both correct again. :)

message 38: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments Thanks :) It was really strange haha I did read the discription but yeah I want to make double sure. But Thanks for lettin me know :)

message 39: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) No problem, Cassidy! :) Happy to help. I know that it definitely threw my head for a loop when I saw it for the first time, LOL.

message 40: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments My one friend was really dispointed that it wasn't a guy. She been waiting for a gay dark hunter but I don't think I wouldn be able to read it if was that lol I love Sundown to much lol

message 41: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) *Laughs* I'm right there with you, Cass! I wouldn't at all want to read about a gay-Sundown. Not that I'm anti-gay or any such stupidity, but Sundown is just too straight for words! LOL

He's such a ladies' man!

message 42: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) And actually, it was funny...this past summer I had just finished doing a Dark-Hunter series reread. I remember, vividly in fact, having read Zarek's book and I kept thinking, "I wonder if Sherri will ever give us Sundown's story!" I really thought about such for quite a while. When I found out Jess was indeed getting his own book and that it would be the very next DH story released...I nearly flipped with excitement! :)

message 43: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments I was thinking that same thing when I was typing that lol. And I am not much of a Zarek kinda person but I fell in love with Sundown in his book even if it only gave a little small thing about him. :) Its really funny because I when i was finished with No Mercy I went to the website to find who book was next I screamed and it was like 3 in the morning my mom was so pissed lol

message 44: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) *Throws head back laughing!*

Oh, my GOD that's funny! And awesome! I personally loved Zarek and his book, and I definitely think Sundown just made it all the better for being in Dance with the Devil!

I think because he's so different from his fellow Dark-Hunters, he's refreshing. His basic personality is still funny and badass like all the other DH boys, but he reminds me a lot of Valerius in being different in culture and mannerisms.

*Laughs* I know! Who would have ever thought that Valerius and Sundown could be comparable! LOL

message 45: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments Lol I think I would be able to enjoy Zareks book more but my one friend is like totally in love with him so its kinda ackward lol in a werid way I just love that Sundown has a completely different background like you said and He like totally different :) I was raised on a ranch and LOVE cowboys so he is even more loveable lol

*Giggles* my friend who wants the gay dark hunter just picture a Val/Sundown Pairing....
(she has a twisted mind lol)

But I think that Sundown has a complete different story from Everyone because all of the other come from the same part of the world kinda in the same time period :) that is was sets him apart

message 46: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) *Dies laughing* Oh, my God...Valerius and Sundown! Man, if that's not a disaster waiting to happen, I don't know what is, LOL.

And hey, to each their own I say! Dance with the Devil is one of my favorites...okay, I'm lying. They're ALL my favorites, LOL. But still, I do get what you're saying.

And exactly! It's fun to change up character backgrounds and get a fresh take on things. Can't WAIT for Jess's book! :)

message 47: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments Sometimes when you read a series and then you get your friends into it. Then you pick charaters that you totally fall in love with it hard to read about them lol Expectly when your friend writes their own little story about them.

Jess's book is going to be completely amazing I can't wait another yera :'( I was having a hard time waiting for No Mercy lol

message 48: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) LOL Well, I know the feeling! I've been a fan since 2004, and every year waiting for the new release gets harder and harder, *laughs.* Thank GOD that Sherri ends up throwing out other releases throughout the year, aside from just her Dark-Hunter books.

Of course, what was really torturous was the fact that when I started reading the Dark-Hunters, they were relatively new (considering) and Sherri had a ton of stuff backlisted. Kiss of the Night, Night Play, and Seize the Night all came out in 2004. My first book that I had to wait for was actually Sins of the Night, if you can believe it, LOL.

message 49: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) PS: Oh, I know! I rarely ever read fanfic in general (though occasionally I will), simply because it's not -the- character, you know?

message 50: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy (fallenthunder) | 60 comments I started to read them 2005 I believe lol The first book I read was Night Play and fell in love with Vane. After re-reading his book like 50 times lol I found out there were a series to it and I read them all out of order haha so I was a little lost. Then that Christmas my mom bought all of them for me :)

I then started to turn my friends and teachers to Dark-Hunter. Lol. So I think the book I had to wait for was the book after Dark Side of The Moon. Because I read them completely out of order I wasn't really looking for the next one to the series lol.

As for the fanfic I don't read it all that much either. But I do read the things my friends write ... sometimes. You have to be careful with their writing because they love yaoi.lol
