He's the perfect 'hero's friend' and second-in-command, but he's not good eough for Harmoine. Harmoine should have married someone better ... Harry, or at least Viktor Krum.

Yeah but they complete each other and balance each other out, she's really good, and he's not... ying and yang :)
I love Ron! He's brave, loyal, and funny. He's not just comic relief though; he keeps the trio together. (Harry and Hermione don't talk many nights in DH when Ron's gone.) He's also very interesting because of his internal fears of always being second best that come to the surface most obviously in DH. I think he's perfect for Hermione. Ron matures later than Harry and Hermione (because of the way he's raised), but after leaving and returning in DH he grows up and becomes worthy of Hermione. Throughout the books, we see the attraction between them: an attraction that Harry never shows toward Hermione.
I really like Ron because he's loyal and he knows whats important and sticks to it. I think he's every bit good enough for Hermione. Its hard growning up with so many older siblings and that puts a lot of pressure on you, and being on the younger end and everything...
Ron always made me laugh i dont know why but he was just.. idk anyway the one thing that bugged me was in 4th when he was jealous of harry
I like Ron's jealousy in DH for being so human. Ron's feelings of inferiority are an essential part of his character and overcoming these feelings is his major struggle in DH.

Mirza wrote: "Still, it doesn't seem like Ron to be jealous of Harry, he doesn't seem the type."But he's constantly being sidelined when people see him with Harry, not to mention his brothers and Ginny. Isn't jealousy and resentment natural?
i don't like how sometimes Ron blows up at Harry. It's not like Harry asked to be the chosen one or famous or well you get the idea.
Well yeah, but its not like Harry tries to let Ron step out of his shadow or anything or try to understand how Ron's feeling. He just gets mad at Ron for being mad.
I've already said that Ron's reaction is natural and I think Harry's is too. He doesn't really understand how Ron is feeling because he's been hurt himself. He only sees the way he's being treated as unfair.
Ron was rationally jealous in GoF... he is constantly demeaned under his brothers. They were all brilliant students, prefects and has nice jobs: Bill, Charlie and Percy ... Fred and George were not perfect but they didn't care about it ... his one best friend was the 'best in their class' and another one is a world celebrated hero. He was bound to be jealous.
Fadhilah wrote: "this is ron in the 7'th?"Ron got really jealous in the 7th mostly because the necklace inhanced his jealousy
ya thats true and i know that harry and rons feelings were nataral but i think that ron and harry could have been better to each other thats just me
I think that every friendship has up and downs and that a lot of the time, friends are needed to balance eachother out, whether or not they always get along perfectly.
April a.k.a Annabeth wrote: "I think that every friendship has up and downs and that a lot of the time, friends are needed to balance eachother out, whether or not they always get along perfectly."That's true ... all friends fight, and all friends get jealous at some point. I think what JKR really tried was to show us the degree of friendship between Harry and Ron by getting them through every hardship, even jealousy and fights.

Okay, lol ... this is just freaky, everyone going ya ya after my comment. It wasn't that GROUNDBREAKING !!
How about we try to think of a new villains for Harry, Ron and Harmoine to fight with? With names, appereanes, dress-up, reason for evil, past history ... u know, like mini versions of local villains, not someone as intense as Voldemort.
Which one? The villain one? Give anything as the name ....
New menace? New fights?
Defenc against another Dark Art?
His fears are adoreable and I think it's funny how he's Harry's little sidekick
hahaha idk I think of ron as an adoreable younger brother but really he would be older than me. Or would he? Idk..............
Ok...I don't really like her music. I like her show a little like the only episodes that I'll watch are those angel ones idk why I just really like that episode. but I do think shes really pretty.
ron is an interesting character, he is like harry's sidekick! wonder how he might feel about that...

In the 4th and 7th books, he got jealous because he was the sidekick..
