Carl I. | 96 comments You could just keep posting Bolan over and over and there will always be something else to post! Even though certain songs of his were very similar to each other, he was still incredible.

Tressa (moanalisa) I think The Who mentions T-Rex in one of their '80s songs. Can't remember which one and too busy to look it up.

I like the film Billy Elliot and love the way the song is used when Billy is learning to dance.

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) Ah, the band the Runaways used to dance to at the English Disco....

Charles T (charlest) | 149 comments I saw T-Rex open for Humble Pie in 1972. Both bands were GREAT!

I don't know if the Who mention T-Rex, but Mott the Hoople do in All The Young Dudes - "I need tv but I got T-Rex"

Ballroom of Mars...Lennonish

message 9: by R (new)

R (feste) I've just been listening to the first Tyrannosaurus Rex album (My People Were Fair, etc.) and I dunno, acoustic songs about the ass-kickery of a nice set of wheels don't really do it for me...

Anyway yeah, I like the T.Rex stuff though.
