Have you read it yet? All I have to say about the Stephanie Plum series is whenever I read one, its like putting on my favorite pair of comfortable shoes. Story is always the same, but I always enjoy reading them. I could stand a lot less Lulu, she is my least favorite character. But otherwise, it was fine - I'm ready for the next one!
Mary, do you mean Lovely Bones? I did not think I was going to like it, but I ended up really liking it. I was very moved by the entire story and even though I really wanted her to be found, I liked the way it ended.
I do mean Lovely Bones...and yes, it took my breath away...I listened to it on tape (being a drama teacher, I appreciate the spoken-written word) while I do housework and barn chores...I found myself doing extra so I could listen longer! Did you know the author was raped as a girl and her rapist was also a killer and she escaped. She wrote a book about the experience called Lucky. There was also some rumors about making Lovely Bones into a movie.
