I pick
Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. I've been wanting to read this one for a while now.
How about Beatrice and Virgil by Yann Martel?
I just finished reading Beatrice and Virgil. This would make a really good book for discussion. Like Life of Pi, there is so much symbolism that there would be much to talk about and see other views about the meaning.
Any more nominations? So far Oliver Kitteridge, Beatrice and Virgil, The Hunger Games, and Guernsey Literary and Sweet Potato Pie Society are our nominations that will go into the poll later tonight or tomorrow morning.
I know this is early, given how late we started The Book Thief, but hopefully we can be on a once a month schedule after this point.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie (not sweet potato pie, as yummy as that is!!) Society gets my vote. I read it once and would LOVE to read it again. GREAT book.
LoL! --"Sweet Potato Pie"--I love to modify recipes! Abby, makes sure you register you vote in the "polls" section so that it gets counted.
