I've never heard of that, =O.One movie I remember loving and crying hysterically during is V for Vendetta. I absolutely LOVE that movie! It's so amazing.
Hachi was a small release. It's based on a true story about a man and his dog. The dog would follow him to the train station every morning and then rush back when he heard the train coming to pick him up. It's really cute. I won't give away the ending, but my dogs don't love me as much as Hachi loved his owner.
Oh dog movies always make me cry like a baby! I saw that movie in the video store yesterday but didn't pick it up
The story about Hachi the dog is pretty known in japan, there's even a statue of him near that train station. (Somehow I get the feeling that every person in japan heard of it, and of course the jmovie based on it helpd).Hmmm most of the movies I remember crying because of them are japanese\korean ones(Windstruck, Daisy, 1 Liter Tears, Taiyou no Uta, Midnight Sun Journy[Byakuyakou:]) ... but the one based on The Time traveler's Wife was also sad
I saw Kick-Ass today and loved it. Some of the gun work wasn't believable, but that's okay. I wouldn't let a kid see it, but I'll definitely see it again.
I have an early copy of Dear John, but I can't bring myself to watch it. I don't feel like crying. I feel bad for neglecting it.
I am, however, hoping to finally see Alice in Wonderland since I didn't see it at the theaters.

Dear John was pretty sad. =/ What I didn't like was that most of the ending of it was so. . . wrong. Ugh. *trying to be cryptic*I like The Notebook a lot more because the ending was bittersweet at least and the main girl character didn't make me want to kill her. :)
I saw Get Him to the Greek. Some was funny. Some was gross and disturbing. If you like that type of humor I'd say rent it don't buy it.
I'm in the middle of Girl With a Dragon Tattoo right now and it's really good so far. I'm wishing I had read the book now. There are some scenes that are hard to watch. Also, I'm having to sit on the floor with the dogs since I'm too blind to read subtitles and I don't speak Swedish.
It was great! Uncomfy. Plus, when Sadie stands in front of a TV it's kind of hard to read said TV.
I want to see the movie as well but I don't feel like reading a movie...I mean how can you enjoy something when you have to constantly read to figure out what is happening? I wouldn't be able to pay attention to the scene for fear of missing out on the words. That's just my opinion though...I have the 1st 2 books on my shelf to read but havn't yet.
^^ I thought that before, but once you get used to it you don't really notice anymore (at least for me).I took my son to see Toy Story 3 yesterday and it was really great! I saw previews but they never really showed what the movie was about, so I was really surprised when I found out the plot. It was pretty emotional too.
I saw Knight and Day yesterday and thought it was pretty good. I don't really like Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz and didn't believe the romance part, but their crazy antics were soooo funny!
Good to know Darcy, I wanted to see it and that's a big leap for me since I've always disliked Tom Cruise. Even in Top Gun. Yes I know, it's sacrilegious, but there was something about him I didn't relate to. Val Kilmer on the other hand... =)
I saw Toy Story 3 late last night. It was okay. If you have a family I'm sure you'll love it. I've never been a big Toy Story fan so I would assume you all will like it better than I did. It did manage to suck me in toward the end and I loved the ending.
The bad guys are always creepy in these movies (at least most of the bad guys.)

I wasn't a Toy story fan until my son became obsessed. It is kind of contagious I guess, lol. We have everything Toy Story - bedding, scooter, pj's, underwear, fishing pole, cups, silverware, plates, and bowls, etc... - we are surrounded by it! Toy Story 3 was the first movie he ever saw at the theatre. We waited for it since it would be such a big deal for him to see it. Now we will go see Shrek since it is pretty popular in our house too. So far Shrek 2 is my favourite, hopefully this one is better than the last.
Saw Eclipse - loved it! I see places where people could complain, but my initial reaction is that I bit through 2 nails and left the theater smiling so that's good for me. =)

It did move slow in places, but then again all of these ones did so far. Some really funny tonuge in cheek lines though that had me cracking up!
i like that Rob actually smiled a little in the scene. He's always brooding. I'm sorry, but he needs to smile when he looks at Bella every now and then. She's suppose to make him happier than Jacob does.
I saw Eclipse last night & thought it was great! Loved the tent scene. Charlie & Bella's "sex talk" was great too. lol

My favorite part was listening to the reactions of people who hadn't read the books. I had heard some people talking before the movie so I watched them when I knew something good was going to happen.
I am going to see it again tonight. It went by so fast for me I didn't really absorb it. I know I liked it, but I am not sure if I loved it. Tonight it will be at the drive in so there won't be a bunch of people laughing and talking to distract me. :)I really did love Bella and Charlie's scenes though, and the tent scene was great. I Didn't like the way they changed the kiss between Bella and Jacob (when she asks him to kiss her). It just didn't make as much sense as in the book. LOVED Riley! Didn't care for the new Victoria though, she didn't look as crazy as Rachelle.
I'm going to see it again next week. I would've been seeing it twice anyways, but I'm really looking forward to it b/c we were really close to the screen & I know it would've been better if I sat back further. Riley was really good... kinda disappointed in Bree. Emmett was Ah-Maze-Ing!! (looking) haha
I thought Jasper was odd at first and then I remembered he was suppose to be a southerner. Although, he talks like he has chew in his mouth.
I loved him and Alice fighting. =) He got a little smirk that worked well.

I def didn't like the new Victoria! I mean she did a good job but it just didn't have the same feel and her hair was too short. I think Rachel was a much better Victoria. I loved Jasper and his accent but i have a soft spot for southern accents since i sorta have one ;)
I had an issue w/so many ppl's hair! Bella's wig was terrible in some shots. So was Rosalie's... & Jasper's hair was just terrible all the time! Oh & the HP trailer was great! I really need to watch the other movies so I'm able to see this one in 3D! That would be awesome!
I finally got to watch the Harry Potter movies! ABC Family has had them on all weekend. I've watched 1-4 so far & #5 is recorded. I'm not going to watch that one till I'm done w/the book. (I'm about 1/2 way through) They're not playing the 6th one, so I'll have to rent that one after I read the book. I'm very impressed at how well the movies are & how they stuck to the book the majority of the time. I really can't think of anything negative to say about them. I can not wait to see the final one in theater!
I do have to say that the Harry Potter movies are some of the best ones to follow the books. Usually the movies don't resemble the books at all. I am glad you like both of them!
I just saw Despicable Me and loved it. I thought it was funny and enjoyed it more than Toy Story 3. (Although, you all know I'm not crazy for Woody and Buzz.) My favorite part was the glo-stick part. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. It's a minor moment, but I love those things for some reason.
I just downloaded Percy Jackson and that was pretty good. I'm looking forward to the next one! Although, I'm not to good with the mythology stuff so I'm assuming most of it went how it was suppose to.
Persephone can't be in Hades during Summer. It's just not possible. It made me want to scream, but I'm a little crazy about things being historically accurate.
Those things don't bother me too much Heather. There are way too many things that would get to me in books/tv/movies if I let it. The movie really let me down though. Maybe it was just because I read the book. I wonder if they are even going to do the sea of monsters?
I watched Remember Me, and it was ok. I had no idea what it was about going into it, so when it got close to the end and I figured it out, I started to cry.
I also watched My Best Friends Girl, and I thought it was pretty funny. I haven't laughed that much in a while.
My Best Friend's Girl was great, but the first 20 and last 20 minutes were super raunchy. I almost died when he started talking to the Grandmother. Talk about nightmares.
I thought the movie, The Lightning Thief was pretty good. I had my expectations really low going into it though. I wonder if they'll make the next one, as well. I'm not sure it got enough hype for them to continue. Esp being in the mist of new Twilight & HP movies coming out.
I hope that they do continue with the series even if they have to wait a bit until the other hype goes away! I guess I should read the books before watching these movies too....
I thought it was okay. If I had kids then it wouldn't be torturous, but it lacked that extra something that brings you into the movie and makes you forget everything else for me.
