Aphrodite sat at the base of a tree, watching her brother Sky practice, laughing as they went along thrusting their weapons about. Her brother was a great general, one she respected and loved beyond belief

Ripple sighed. She couldn't leave the water.

He smirked and jumped, throwing a globe of air at his friends who were knocked over.

Xander shrugged and started off walking. He walked through the woods, bored as ever

Ripple looked at Xander. She sighed again, then dipped under the water.

Xander looked around, hearing someone. "Hello?" he called

Ripple swam a little, her scaly legs brushing the floor of the pool.
She went up again.

He frowned, confused. He turned to see Ripple and gasped in slight surprise.

Ripple blinked at this boy, her hair sticking to her face.

He stared momentarily. "Uh...h-hello...?"

Ripple waved. She then dived under.

He slowly nodded and watched her swim away. With a shrug of his shoulder, a branch went down and grabbed him, helpfully pulling him up into the tree branches

Ripple watched underwater. She swam back. She surfaced.

He sat on the branch and swang his feet, smiling childishly

Ripple grinned. She slowly began to push herself out of the water, but found herself gasping, and going back into it.

He looked down at her curiously

Ripple let her legs dangle in the water, and it eased over her gills.

Xander leaned back against the tree

"Hello," Ripple said.

"Ello." he greeted

"Where are you from?" she asked.

He shrugged and pointed east, inland

"Ah," Ripple said.

He nodded. "What about you?"

"Under there," Ripple pointed to the water.

"Nice" he smiled

Ripple shrugged.

"You dont like it?"

"Not really,"

"I see."

"I..." Ripple sighed. "I can't leave the water."

"Oh." he frowned and jumped down. "Must be lonely, huh?"

"Yes, very,"

He nodded sympathetically. "I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's Ok," she said dreamily.

He nodded and sat at the edge of the water

Saffy dived down, and tapped Xander on the head. She then zoomed straight up.

Xander looked up in confusion

Ripple giggled.

Saffy laughed, and then folded in her wings. She dropped like a rock, straight into the lake.

Xander smirked

Saffy bobbed back up, then swam easily to the edge. As she stepped out, a few animals surrounded her for a few moments, leaving her dry.

He chuckled and smirked, putting his feet in the water

"Hello."

"Ello." he smiled

"I'm Saffy, goddess of fire and animals."

"I'm Xavier"

"Cool name." She cocked her head as if listening to something, and a moment later a red panda came out of the forest and hopped into Saffy's lap. She petted it, and it seemed content.

he smiled slightly

Saffy closed her eyes, and a panther padded out of the forest. It walked over to Xavier.
