So which is better, tiolet paper fed underhand or overhand? Is it merely matter of taste or is there some logical reason to prefer one over the other?

Take for instance the following. Toilet paper fed over is superior in that it avoids brushing the wall to grasp the loose end. Further, within a public restroom where aluminum receptacles often have a metal lip which prevents the sheets from advancing at times (they get caught behind the edge) it makes more sense to feed them overhand.

And you thought this was perhaps about softball versus baseball. Silly of you really.

I think it's more a matter of taste...most people pay it no attention.

Either....to me theres no difference. Although if i really had to choose it would be under.

Oddly, I think that a "most people" do indeed have a preference although they may not express it or think it worthy of a disagreement.

My wife favors under-hand while I favor the opposite. She doesn't care enough about it to argue so she runs it over-hand most of the time. However, at times she forgets and I have to flip it over.

Even Luz, who says "theres no difference" has a preference: "under." I am also curious why? What is it that makes us choose one or the other? Conditioning? Mom and dad had the roll on that way so that's the way I like it? Something else?

I find it funny that for some people it's a really big deal that they have to argue about.
