I "heart" Morelli discussion

Stephanie has decided to leave the world of fugitive apprehension agent behind its time for a new start something different, with new challenges, a job were no shoots at her. But trouble follows Stephanie. One she losses because she spends the night with Morelli and is late (lucky girl), another one because someone gives her a bomb abd the place goes up in smoke, another someone blows up her car and kills her boss. Ranger finally hires her to do research for Rangman (Shazzy's dream job). So know she is working for Mr.Mystery man. Her whole family thinks she can play the cello, her bridemaid dress for Val's wedding is EGGPLANT, she gives up sugar, and some crazy wantes to kill her just when she decided to live a normal life.

Favorite scene: When Morelli's garage blows up and Stephanie is excited because her cello is in his truck.

When she has to go rescue Lulu who is chained naked to an FTAs bed that she went to bring in.

They are all good.....but this is my favorite.
I leaned into Morelli and kissed him lightly on the mouth. "It's too scary to share," I told him. He felt nice against me, and he tasted like doughnut. I ran the tip of my tonguealong his lower lip. "Yum," I said.
Morelli's fingers curles into the back of my jacket. "Yum is a little mild for what I'm feeling. And what I'm felling shouldnt be happening on the sidewalk in front of the bakery. Maybe we should get together tonight."
"For pizza?"
"Yeah, that too."


Favorite Ranger-Stephanie conversation:
"Okay, here's the deal," I said to him. "youknow how when you squeeze a jelly doughnut and the Jelly squirts out in the weakest spot of the doughnut? Well, if I'm a jelly doughnut then my weak spot is dessert. Every time I get stressed I head for the bakery. I'm trying to stop the dessert thing now, and so the jelly is squirting out someplace slese."
"And?"
"And this place that it's squirting out...maybe squirting out isn't a good way to put this. Forget squirting out."
"you're trying to tell me something," Ranger said.
"Yes! And it would be a lot easier if you didnt have your hands under my shirt. It's hard for me to think when you've got your hands on me like this."
"Babe, has it occurred to you that you might be giving information to the enemy?"


Favorite Stephanie thoughts:
Here's the basic difference between Morelli and me. My first thought was always of cake. His first thought was always of sex. Don't get me wrong. I like sex...a lot. But its never going to replace cake.

I was taking a time-out from Morelli and Ranger hoping to get a better grip on my fellingd, but I wasn't making much progress. It was like choosing between birthday cake and a big-boy maragrita. How could I possibly decide? And probably I'd be better off without either, but jeez, that wouldnt be any fun.

"I don't have a lot of domestic instincts," Ranger said to me, his attention fixing on the unidentifiable glob of goo in my hair, "but I have a real strong urge to take you home and hose you down."

I have tears in the corners of my eyes and now I understand why Michael emailed me to let me know I needed therapy. Which is what makes it even funnier because (Shaz your gonna love this) I told her heck Yeah Physical Therapy with Ranger or Tank!!! ( and Shaz, I did say "or" not "and") LOL And that you probably would want some Ranger therapy yourself! LMAO

Aside to comment 34, There is a section of the bookstore called Erotica where people often have "Donuts" and "Margaritas" at the same time. LOL

I won't be on here till I've read it. It'll just be the sound of crickets. hehe

I just finished this book recently. I loved this book. 5 Stars! The scene where the guy at the chicken restaurant throws the package into the frier is hilarious. I am curious where Stephanie is going to work now! On to the next book!
