Reading through Harry Potter with GC discussion

Hey, I'm Guitar Chick, just call me GC. I've kinda already explained my purpose. So hello to all who join, and I hope we have fun reading together.

Hi. I couldn't resist joining this one. I've read each one of the seven books no less than five times each. The Chamber of Secrets is my favorite and I've lost count on how many times I've read it. I think it's between twenty and thirty times. I'm not bragging with that. I think it's a bad thing, but I love the entire series and am here with ya GC. When do we start?

Right now. Just check the place out, you know, start a file for the chpaters. I don't know. Inviting friends would be a good thing.

Yeah, those were really long. I just now got my copy of Order of the Pheonix back froma friend and bought the other two half off at a bookstore, so yeah...

Hey GC! I decided to join, because I love Harry Potter. So, if you don't know me, I'm Alyssa (future Her Most Glorious Honored Majesty, Elected Dicator of Earth and Supreme Empress of the Universe, Queen of Life and Matter, Overlord of All, Great Eminence, The Illustrious Exalted One, Lady of Greatness, etc., etc.).

Why, thank you. I've been plotting that since 5th grade. So... you may want to get used to using those titles now, since it may be very, VERY soon that you will HAVE to. ;)

I just loved the way each book covered a year of his schooling. I wish I could come up with something like that, but my stories have nothing to do with school and so can't be quite so structured. The best I've done is a three part-er where each part is a step up in my main's evolution. The first part is the high school kid learning how to use magic and learning that he is a ruler. The second part is the young ruler racing to unite his country once again. And the third part is the powerful king taking control.
