ok so this is set in a place like earth. the people are seperated by the element they control. fire elementals live near volcanoes, air on the clouds, earth live in caves and under ground, water on top of large bodies of water like a large lake and the ocean

Addie went skiming across the lake of her home.

Honou walked by the shore of a lake planning how to get stronger

Addie stoped she could feal the pressens of someone.

Honou got bored and started shooting some fire balls across the lake while he thought

(wow realy..i've had the idea for a while conroling elements via gems)

Addie saw some fire balls coming at her she started doing flips across the water.

he finished by shooting a giant fist of fire across the lake

she saw the shot coming but she couldnt get around it so she dove into the water.

Honou sat down making sparks jump from finger to finger 'where to find that scroll' he thought

addie started to swim to where the the fire balls were coming from. she went over to the shore.

honou looked up and saw someone swim to the shore he stood "and you are"

hearing a voice she look and saw a figur "the real question is who are you and what are you doing here?" she replyed.

"no manners huh. well if you must know i was thinking untill you showed up problem with that"

"no" she said "I don't have a problem with you thinking. I do however have a problam with you tring to kill me when I wasn't doing anything to you."

"kill u what do you mean by that i just now saw u"

"well someone was throing fire balls at me and I don't think It was the birds."

Honou laughed

"what?" Addie asked

"i have a habbit of using fire attacks while thinking"

"well that would explane it" she said she examed him up close he wasn't that bad looking he was a little rugh thoug.

she looked at him "I don't recall hearing of you" she answered

"be glad you haven't you may have been killed then"

a shot of fear ran down her spine at the tone of his voice she looked up in to his face looking for a clue for if he was joking or not.

he leaned closer to her and wisperd in her ear "don't tell anyone we've met its our secret" he stood straight and waited for a responce

she look at him in a daze. "finaly she said fine just don't try to kill anyone and I won't tell."

he thought for a moment "fine this area will go unharmed" he started to walk away then stoped "before i go do you know of the hiding place of the fire scroll"

"no" she said she look away.

he turned "look me in the eyes and answer agien" he commanded

she could hear the power in his voice she didn't like were this was going. she looked at him she couldn't help but give him a big smile and say "my plesure. I haven't even heard of the fire scroll let alone its hiding place"

"figures you are a water elementalist if i'm not mistaken" he began to walk away
