Kit sat on her back porch sketching the woods behind her new house.

Crissy sat in a tree in the woods sucking on a lolipop looking around the nature that was around her.

Kit kept sketching but she had become aware that another human was in the woods not far away.
((she can sense all animals...including humans!))

Now Kit was aware of two human prescenses in the woods.

Kit finished her drawing and got up stretching.

Kit became aware of yet another prescense but this one she couldn't place, but whatever it was, it had startled one of the humans.

Kit was bored so she decided to go explore the woods.
What's the worst that could happen? There are already two other humans in there...and something else...but still

Caleb sensed humans in the woods. He quickly changed back into a human.

Crissy saw a girl over the creek. She sighed and jumped off the tree. Branches crunched under her feet.
Caleb came into sight.
Crissy jumped and looked at him, "oh, it's you."
"Who else did you think it was?" Caleb said giving her a crooked smile.
Crissy rolled her eyes.
Caleb's eyes trailed over to the creek where a girl((Ginny)) was. He raised his eyebrows but then shrugged.

Kit walked farther into the woods towards the human prescences.

Crissy looked at her and grinned. She shouted back, "Hola. Como es tas?"

Caleb laughed and looked at Ginny, "Hi."

Crissy gave Ginny a look, "It's rude to not answer back."

Caleb laughed again. "Don't mind her," he told Ginny, "She's like that. She means no harm."

"Crissy," Crissy said.

"Caleb," Caleb said smiling.

Kit saw the three people talking and ducked behind a tree to watch.

"I just hang out in the woods," Crissy said.

"Same," Caleb said carefully.

Kit was surprised at that but then again the boy did have a bit of a different prescence about him as well as human...wolf?

Caleb heard the thoughts of Kit. He turned around to find her watching. Oh great, does she know? He thought to himself.

Kit jumped behind the tree when he looked at her.
Oh great did he see me?

Oh, yes I did, He thought to himself. He grinned up to her and walked over, "Hi? Why are you hiding?"

Kit sighed and stepped out from behind the tree.
"I heard people talking and decided to listen. Sorry I eavsdropped."

"Oh," Caleb said, "there wasn't a big conversation here anyway. I'm Caleb by the way."

"I'm Kit" she smiled, "Caleb can I ask you something?"

"Yea, go ahead," Caleb said.

"What are you?" Kit said calmly.

"What do you mean what am I?" Caleb asked, "Can't you tell by seeing me?"
Oh my god, she found out, he thought to himself.

Kit shook her head.
"I can sense that you aren't all that you appear to be."
And I have a feeling you can read my thoughts too

Caleb sighed, "it's pointless to keep it from you now knowing that you can sense people/animals. And yea, I can read your mind/thoughts...."

"Yea," Crissy said, " Why are you here?"

Kit nodded.
"I thought so and yes I can. So what are you? A shifter or...werewolf?"

"I'm a werewolf," Caleb said.

"And I'm a human," Crissy pitched in. Caleb adn Crissy looked exactly the same except Caleb was much taller and Crissy had longer hair.

"Yay for humans," Crissy said cheerfully.

Kit smiled.
"I'm human...just special." then she turned to Caleb, "I knew I sensed wolf coming from you. I was right!"

"yea, and I heard you think that I was a wolf," Caleb said grinning.

Crissy shrugged, "I've known since he turned into one. Runs in the male generation of the family."

"Right" Kit sighed, "Cause of the mind reading thing."

"It runs in the family. That means it's in my blood. Once I reach an age, the features come," Caleb said.

Kit nodded.
"That makes sense."

"Uh, for werewolves, yea," Caleb said.

Kit nodded.
"Mostly."

Caleb nodded and smiled at her.

Kit smiled back.
I've known some before that got turned into werewolves

"Don't worry about it there aren't any of those kind around here." Kit smiled.

"Humans turned werewolf by different means. One of which is biting." Kit explained.

"Scientists can genetically change you. Accidentally pricking yourself on the lycanthrope thorn bush...that one isn't that commen considering it's rare...and occasionally through essence transfer by...ummm...I don't want to say that word...that one's rare too." Kit replied.

Caleb nodded, "But usally, if its in your blood, you turn into one."

Caleb smiled.

Crissy grinned, "yea....a girl wouldn't want to be one."

"If you want to have kids, you won't be able to as a werewolf," Crissy said.

Crissy laughed, "even then, it's not a wonderful life for a woman."

"I don't know....it won't be the same," Crissy said.

"I don't know....I can't explain," Crissy said, "Let's say that it's harder for a woman to be one than a man."
