Etiri sat down on a bench.

Scarlett: Scarlett walked around the park alone. She missed her sister and her father. They'd died in a car crash excactly one month ago.

Mason: Mason sighed and ran a hand through his hair. She was right there, but he was too much of a coward to talk to her.

Etiri stood up. She had a really big urge to go to the library. She headed that direction.

Mason: He followed her, feeling like a stalker. "Stop being a baby and go talk to her." He chided himself.

Scarlett: Scarlett sat down on the grass

Etiri got to the library. She got on the catalog, searching for something to read.

Mason: Mason finally got up the courage to talk to her. He walked over to her. "Hey." He said. His heart skipped a beat when she turned to look up at him.

Scarlett: Scarlett was bored.

"Hi."

Mason: "I'm Mason." What was he supposed to say 'I think your beautiful?'

"I'm Etiri. Hm....Have I seen you before?"

Mason: "Yeah we go to the same school." Then he just said it. "There's party my buddy trent is throwing tonight. "Would you like to come with me?"

"Uh..OK..." Etiri was taken aback.

Mason: "Cool." Mason said cooly. "Where do you live? I'll pick you up at 6."

"Hang on." She got a piece of paper and scribbled down a address.

Mason: He wrote down his phone number for her.

"See ya later!" Etiri got up to get her book.

Mason:"See ya." He smiled and started to walk away.

Etiri got her book and headed home. IT was a long walk, but she didn't have a car. Yet.

Mason:I got in my car and started to drive away when I saw Etiri walking. "Need a ride?" I called out pulling up next to her.

"Yes, I could. I need to get home quickly."

Mason:I leaned over and pushed open the passenger door. "Hop in."

Etiri got in.

Mason: He smiled at her and started to drive.

Etiri looked at Mason.

Zoey walked around town

Scarlett: Scarlett was walking and she ran into someone.

Mason: Mason could feel her looking at him.

Etiri looked ahead.

Mason: They arrived at her house.

"Thanks!" Etiri got out and almost ran inside.

mason:"No problem. See ya at 6!" He called after her.

"Bye!" Etiri ran in. She ran up to her room.

Mason:When he got home he looked at his clothes and wondered what to wear. He decided on a white t-shirt with black pants. Time passed quickly.

Jeans, yes, I think so. T-shirt, maybe...Hoodie, yes. OK, so a T-shirt, jeans, and hoodie? OK. Etiri got dressed and braided her hair.

Mason: He looked at his reflection then at the clock. It was 5:30.

Etiri looked at the clock. 5:45. He'll be there any minute. "Mom!" Etiri called down the stairs. She came down. "Yes?"
"Can I go out with some friends tonight?"
"Yes, of course!"
"Thank you, mom!"
"Don't forget your cell phone, Etiri!"
"I won't. Promise!" Etiri went to sit on the couch in the front room, waiting for Mason to come pck her up. Damn,, I wish I had a car...

Mason: "Mom, I'm leaving." He called out. There was no awnser so he left. He pulled up in front of Etiri's house at excatly 6:00

Alex texted Mason "sup man?"

Etiri saw Mason's car and went to the door. "Bye, Mom!"

Mason: Mason texted back "Off 2 trent's party w/Etiri." Etiri got in and Mason started to drive.

Etiri watched the road.

Ryan:"So I've liked you for awhile."

Etiri heard, but kept her eyes on the road. She was silent.

Ryan: "But I was scared you'd reject me."

Etiri gave a small nod.

Ryan:"So are you going to reject me?"

"No..."
