I'm not partaking of the competition. Deadlines are my downfall, and also working in a specific genre. I don't like when I'm told what it has to be. I'm more like give me a pen and a notebook and let me sit in a room with the door closed for a week. My family's adjusted to it, so basically I'm left alone. I forget to eat and sleep, so my amazing friend Michelle texts me and reminds me. But deadlines, they kill me. Genre specs? Nuh-uh, not happening.

I haven't started mine yet...I've been too busy reading.

I would like to enter, but how recently must you have written the piece to enter it? Or does it matter?
