Semira A | 14 comments This book is an enjoyable book to read. This book is very inspiring, in my opinion it talks about so much, for example how the truth is very important ,and how one word could mean a lot.One of the character in this book is a journalist, who writes the truth, for that people want to kill him.I think the truth should always be told.

Do you think know a days journalist or the media tells the truth? or do you think they tell whats false?

Tavia Edwards | 12 comments In the book The Other Side of Truth Sade and Femi are wondering the streets of London. With a lot of lies and a new last name, they get themselves into the foster care system. Where normal hardships of being the new kids in school set in. Which is why I love this book. Ican relate to this novel so much, it has such an universal take on life to me.

Can you relate to this book at all?

One of my favorite part in the book is in the end. When Sade and Femi, dad comes to see them in christmas and he brought a gift for them .The reason why I chose this part is because the kids been through a lot also the dad so they got together,so that was a good thing.

Semira A | 14 comments The other side of truth has a part when sade went to school in london. Two girls in her grade level bulled her. They made fun of her, making herself feel very bad. They made her do bad stuff. The poor girl didn't want to do it,but the two girls will do something bad to her,if she doesn't do it .This is very similar to our world,of what we do today.

Do you think bullying will ever stop?

My Favorite part in the book is when they were alone on the streets of London. You really got to see London through their eyes. What was their view ofthe city and the faces that was there.

Yes I think she would be crumble up, without her brother, femi. She has lost her mom ,and not been able to see her dad for a long time .She doesn't want to lose her brother,he's the only thing she got.

Javetta (A): I think that she would but then she wouldnt because femi is not really doing nothing to support their living in london, and she would because she doesnt know no one over there and she might just get lonely and have no one to talk to.

Javetta Stanley | 17 comments The part that I'm reading now,is that sade and femi just moved to another foster home with an older couple who have children that are older, and femi and sade just recieved there own room, just like the one's in lagos....

(Q): If you went to an foster home, and you could choose any celebrity to live with who would you choose?

If you were in her predicament, how might you go about dealing with that?

Not really because people are hateful. They Just antagonize people and hurt their feelings for their own pleasure.

Tavia Edwards | 12 comments when you meet a man that you thought you knew. He look like some one you knew a long time ago. To find that was Sade's father nearly a stranger towards the end of the book. It gives you hope that times are going to change for them.
Did you think that this happy part of the book came too late?

Javetta(A): If i was sade i would have got smart with the girls and then, if they kept bothering me i would have told the teacher, and then if they kept bothering me i would had to fight them, then they would stop bothering me then

I give this book a A. Because this book gives us(americans) a way to see how both africans and london people live. This book also caught my attention because i can relate to Sade and Femi. Their mother paseed and they were sent to london. When my mother died, i decided to go live with my father in a place where i had never really lived before. Being the new girl is really hard. Having to make friends all over. Miss your grandmother and uncles and other people you were use to see on a daily. So, My grade for this book is an A.
