that scene had me laughing out loud so bad i think i even did a knee slapper in there somewhere. i liked his grouchiness and i like that he never let go of it, he didnt really change bc of her. i guess when you're that old you who you are and thats it but now he is a happy grouch lol.

You can't help but fall in love with all her characters even the grouchy ones. Down deep they are like one big old teddy bear.

Oh my goodness! I adore this book soo much. I worship it in the back of my closet....ok that was a lie, but I have read it so many times and I just love him. love love love love love lovel love LOVE Lucern. He was an ass but we could all love him because in reality he was just a big fluffy puppy with sharp fangs!

My favorite scene was when Kate got stuck under the table too! I think thats an overall favorite in the series. I loved Lucern too, especially his choice of phrase:"NO!" But my favorite crusty Argeneau is hands down Lucian. Sorry Lucern but step aside.:):)
