Awww, it can't be that bad. You can't be worse than our director. He conducts in circles O_O And Billy Idol will indeed help.

My suggestion: just loosen up. Run with it.
How many people in your band are trying out?
We had five. Tyler (sax), Denae (another sax), Phoebe (clarinet (clearly nuts)), Zach (percussion), and Emily (flute). Phoebe and Denae got it.
Both of ours from last season are, too. Donna was another clarinet, and Blair was a mello.
You'll do fine. (And now I'm going to listen to Rebel Yell).
Best of luck! We just had our audition results and I'm first chair in the lowest band (I would have been second chair in the middle band if stupid administration hadn't decided to schedule Choralettes(the advanced female singers group, which I made) at the same time as Symphonic Band).

im more in shape now than i have been my whole life and i love it!! woohoo! go marching band!
wow our band is if you want to be in it, you're in. we have about 35 brass, 40 woodwinds, 25 pit and drum line, and 25 colorguard. 125 in all :D we're class V this year!!
brass?do you like the guard? i only like 1 or 2 ppl on the guard. the rest really annoy me.
