I'm writing more blogs and I'm much more aware of trying to write more remarkable content... maybe not remarkable in the world at large - but for our niche - striving to make it more interesting and relevant. I got a much clearer idea of the inbound marketing sales funnel and the importance of nurturing potential clients - so we're currently looking into e-mail marketing/newsletter programs to add to the website.
I do believe that video will continue gain importance - so we'll do something in that area before the end of the year.
Being a small business though, finding the time to implement new initiatives can be a real challenge!
This was such a good read! I am so glad this book was chosen for the book club. There is a lot of valuable advice throughout the book. Reading was the easy part, the tough part now is taking action and implementing what we have learned. It will be time well spent! I look forward to discussing the next book, "Greening Your Small Business" with you all!
This was indeed a valuable book. As a small business, I know we need to keep our eyes on the competition, however I want to ensure that I am where my customers expect me to be. When it comes to tools, similar to my own tool box in the garage, I will have favorites, and perhaps some tools at the bottom of the box. Given time, I'll know which tools will work best in combination for my customers and for my website conversion rates.

Since we’ve come to the end, this is a discussion of parting thoughts and ideas. Have you started working with any of the inbound marketing techniques that we have discussed? Over these few weeks, has there been any change in your conversion rates, visitor numbers, or other statistics?
