Jontay Barcus | 12 comments In the book im reading Nzingha It is a true story about an African Princess who turned her diary into a story. The main plot of the story is her struggle to overcome people in her village putting her second and looking beyond her just because she is a female. As a baby the prophecy that was told for her upbringing was to be ruler of her village, but people doubted her and didn't think much about it because she is a female. Do yall think girls are treated different than men and if so explain.

Jontay Barcus | 12 comments Im reading the book Nzingha if you read in the topic above you can get a basic overlook of what the book is about. There is a part in the book where she is talking to her father about of her feelings of another member of the village she says he think he's a trader. Instead of listenin to her daughter he blows her off and embarrass her in fromt of the whole village. Have you ever had an experience like this and what was it?
