I'm doing a portfolio of writing for the college i'm going to, and for part of it i'm writing a short story i've titled Bonfire. I've never really written a short story so I don't know what it needs to make it good. I need help.
If you could please take a few minutes and read Bonfire (the link is below) and give me any suggestions or thoughts that you had while reading it, I would really appreciate it. Any comments, criticisms...anything. Tell me how good it is, if it's compelling and interesting or just another short story. And if you have any ideas on how to make it better, I would really appreciate that as well. I want this writing to be the best it can be.
