Miles, while the other kids were taing their break, was selling penicls to raise money for the Children's Hospital. He took out a book called Petfinder: Second
Chances...(which is a real book.) and waited for buisness to come.
He ducked when bullies came along and tried to keep his head held high. The other nerds would be waiting for him at lunch soon.

Lani was about to go to her next class US History. She loved history and found it fascinating. As she was walking down the hall she noticed Miles selling pencils.

Lani quickly walked to her next class, and got out her book The Last Song, and started to read before class started.

Lani felt someone looking around, there wasn't only but a few people in class. She looked behind her and seen Marx. Then she turned around back to her book.

Miles listened to History and took notes on just about everything.

Soon the bell rang loudley....time for lunch. Miles saw the table with people like him like Amanda Goldtwaits...and hurried over.

Creanna drove up to the school.

Lani walked outside and seen Marx eating lunch by himself.

Creanna surveyed the school
Why'd I have to move! she thought, frustrated.
She slowly walked to the door.

Lani thought maybe she should sit with him.

Lani walked over to Marx. "Hi."

Creanna saw two people.
"Hey, could one of you tell me where the office is?"

"Yeah, walk in the two doors over there turn left and walk all the way down that hall and your there," she smiled, trying to be friendly.

"Thanks" she said smiling at Lani, then she walked to the office.

"Hey. You seem lonely."

"Lani. Your in my US history class. Can I sit with you?" she asked.

Lani sat down next to him. She had no idea what to say. "Do you eat out here by yourself all time?"

"You don't have any friends? I mean not trying to be rude. I am kind of a loner sometimes."

"I sometimes hang out with this one girl, but we really aren't friends. So I guess none for me too." SHe said. She feels like she is saying all the wrong things.

She felt really embarassed. "Am I-Am...I bothering...you?"cshe asked.

"I feel really stupid right now."

"I don't know. I don't usually talk this much," she looked back at him.

"I don't know. I can be shy. You don't talk much either," she told him.

"Same here." she murmered.

Lani got out her book and started reading.

Lani watched him throw away his trash then kept continuing reading her book.

Lani smiled at him.

She continued to smile and looked back at her book.

Kia walked to the library

Kai sat in one of the chairs

"The Last Song. It's really good."

"Yeah. Do you like to read?"

"What kind of books do you like?" She asked.

She laughed. "Wow. I like long books, with a good story."

Kia then left the library and went outside for a walk

"What class do you have next?"

Kia was thinking about blowing the rest of the day off

Kia then sat on a bench outside of school

Kia then sighed and decided to go to her classes as she stood up and walked back into school as she stopped at her locker to get her book for Chemistry

she looked around to see if he was talking to her

"oh, well most people dont talk to me" she said, "and I have chemistry" she added

she then clothes her locker as she fixed her shirt

Kia rolled her eyes and walked away, "pig" she whispered to her self

"not interested" she said as she walked into Chemistry and took her sit in the back
