Any fans of the Auralia Thread here? I recently finished Raven's Ladder, which came out this February. It was a great read :). I have an extra copy to give away, so I'm running a contest on my blog.
I posted extensively on Raven's Ladder as part of the Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy Blog Tour and thought I'd share here! The book really gave me a lot of food in its portrayal of humanity especially, inspiring this post (which the author was kind enough to call "surprising and moving," thus making my day!). Contest details are at the end: "The Man, the Beast, and the Nature of Desire": http://www.rachelstarrthomson.com/201...
Read my books too! I'm the author of the Seventh World Trilogy, starting with "Worlds Unseen" and "Burning Light." A search for truth and beauty in the midst of impending war, they're sort of Narnia meets the X-Men meets the Protestant Reformation :).

And a two-part interview with the author here http://www.rachelstarrthomson.com/201... and here: http://www.rachelstarrthomson.com/201...
Enjoy! Hope to see your contest entries :).
