Anyone have an idea for a topic or story for this genre?

Mutants?

ummm, let me count the ways. oh, crap, i just forgot!! hold on, ill get it eventually.

Um...wouldn't that be fantasy? Not realistic fiction?

hm, what about people who are somehow deformed or have birth defects or whatever and are considered mutants?

Thats a good idea...oooh and what if whenever someone like that is born, because people think they are mutants, then there is this mob that try to kidnap and kill them? And so all the mutants that are alive have to come together, and they form a "group", and they go into hiding...

yeah, because they think that they are some sort of freaks or whatever so they try to kill them but there are a few in hiding that are still alive....

Yeah. And the ones in hiding have to be on their toes and run whenever they mob comes close...

huh... this sounds kind of like X-men.... We have to add a drastic difference to make it otherwise...

I just have to say that that really doesn't sound like realistic fiction, but it seems like a good idea.

This is also true... This doesn't sound like it could happen even though it is a pretty good idea.

Hee Hee, i just got a crazy idea. but it's kinda stupid. The fly spies. You know like the annoying buzzing flies that are spies!!
Gosh, that sounds so stupid, let's just stick to the "normal" spies.

Hmm, how should we start this . . . ?

I think that people are too creative and imaginative in this group to plan for realistic fiction. We have a realistic ficion that randomly turned into fantasy and than just got turned back to realistic fiction in one of the stories with no planning ahead. But spies seems more like an adventure rather than realistic fiction, even if it were realistic. Realistic fiction is generaly something that the average person can relate to.

Realistic fiction is such an oxymoron. It's fiction. Fiction is the opposite of realistic! At least, that's what I think.

I agree with morgan! and Veronica! We are too creative and fiction and realistic are practically opposites!

Hmm, oh well. It's got a good start so far...
